Playing in our regular Tuesday Morning scramble group. We were 1 under after 8 holes. I said to my friend "all we have to do is get an ACE on #9 to get to 3 under and have a shot at some money. As I went up to take my shot, I heard good shot, straight on.. It hit the green and I walked away as I thought I was short of the pin. My partner yelled "it went in the hole!". I had to buy a round, but we took first place money and closest to the pin to help pay for it.
