Started golfing on March 1st 2023. Literally 5 months later we decided to go try a new par 3 course as we didn’t feel good enough yet to try a proper long course. The second hole at Tregenna castle is a short 115yd par three down hill with a bunker far right and a small mound to the right of the green. I set up with my PW (I know it’s short and down hill but I was still new to the world of golf) and in all honesty I chunked it. I remember it going so high and I knew it was short. It hit the mound and took a lucky bounce to the green. Then it rolled… me and my two playing partners were gasping as it got closer and closer, then it disappeared. You can imagine my absolutely over exaggerate reaction… however in my ecstatic mood I turned to look at my partners to see their reactions and they had already started to walk down to the hole in annoyance because of the fact a absolutely terrible connection made a hole in one. I know they say hole in ones are flukes but this was the most flukey thing I have ever done or seen…
