Got to course late, and almost missed tee time. I have not played in 6 months, due to back surgeries. Played with my friend Charlie who recently lost his wife. What a pair.. out of shape, back with pins in spine, and getting through the loss of a wonderful woman. Hit a driver on a par three, as I am a short hitter, and though the ball was on line, we could not see it on the green. Charlie said he could not see it in the back of the green, and suggested I walk by the hole, which I did and low and behold, the ball was in the cup!
