Hi there,
My name is Tyler Nolan, and I am reaching out per recommendation from another player that was in a tournament I participated in on 4/19/24. I did not even know something like this existed as this is my first ever hole in one. I am 32 years old, and I have been playing golf since I was about 16. This past Friday (4/19/24), myself and 3 friends participated in the Virginia Beach Parks and Rec (VBPRF) Annual Spring Tune Up tournament at Kempsville Greens Golf Course in Virginia Beach, Virginia. We started the tournament on Hole 13. Hole 16 is where the magic happened; I pulled out my 7 iron for a par 3 at 149 yards, flag was kind of front/middle of the green. When I hit it, it felt like the perfect contact. I followed the initial path of the ball but then lost it in the sky, so I just looked towards the flag. Heard the ball hit the ground and heard a "TINK" - thank goodness for flag poles. Ran to the green to confirm and sure enough there it was. My bright yellow Titleist 1 ball sitting in the cup. What a feeling! Thanks for allowing me to share this experience.
