    Tee’d off using a 3 rescue wood to a 177 yard green. Saw the ball land just short of the green. Thought it had rolled off the slope at the back of the green. When I couldn’t find the ball my playing partner looked in the hole and said “are you playing a Titleist 2 ball?”. I said yes and he shook my hand.

    I got my first hole-in-one on Monday, July 29. It was at Hiawatha Golf Club in Canton, South Dakota. I used a five-iron from 175 yards. The ball was a Pro-V1 (a #3). We were pretty sure it was in the hole from the tee, but we were not 100% sure until I saw it in the hole! I had become convinced I was never going to get one. I am glad I was wrong!
