A little late submitting. On July 7, 2024, at my home course the Falcon Golf Club @ Coast Guard Base on Joint Base Cape Cod. 103 yds with a PW. Saw it all the way, one hop and in. I am the last one in my group of regular playing partners to get one. Of my group, I am the one who is most into this game. I watch it, read it, study it, gear my workouts around it , etc. but I am last. The lady I've played with for 20+ yrs was first about 10 yrs ago. My son who could take or leave playing was next 7 yrs ago, worst he got his trying the 7 iron from a set I was demoing that day and lastly my buddy who is legitimately handicapped with knee and ankle problems got his 2 yrs ago and now I've finally joined the group, though my son is reminding me that he did it first. When the doctors told me I had lung cancer in 2014, I said to them " I can't die yet, i don't have a hole in one." I 've been keeping an eye out for the grim reaper ever since. Now that I have finally caught up with the group, I guess the race is on for number two !
