Today along with my brother and a fellow 83 year old Turnberry member we arrived at 12th tee on the King Robert the Bruce course, a delightful Par 3 playing 167 yards into a slight South Easterly breeze. I selected a 6 iron to play my Titleist ProV1 ball and caught it flush out the middle of the club, it initially flew slightly left of the middle back pin but gradually faded back towards the target before taking 2 or 3 bounces on the green followed by a short roll out straight into the cup. ️1️⃣ This was only my 2nd ever Ace with the first one being 20 years previous.
