  1. On February 15th, at the Heritage Harbour Golf Club in Bradenton, Florida, at the age of 81, I aced the par three 14th hole. It was set at at approximately 105 yards with the wind cross from the right and against. The green is on a peninsula of land so balls just short of the putting surface will roll down into a gully right or water left. So hitting the green is the first priority. A playing companion who was 11 years junior, 4 inches taller and 50 pounds heavier hit a nine iron pin high and ten feet left. So I took a bit more club and hit an eight iron. It hit the front of the green, took two bounces and went in the cup. My two playing companions had never had a hole-in-one nor had even seen one, so there was excitement all around. I normally play the Titleist Tru-Feel but had purchased a three pack of Velocitys hoping for a bit more distance. At my age every yard counts. Thanks Titleist for helping me get to Hole-In-One number two at an age when pars are counted as a victory.
