Hi to all, I would like to buy the new 2013 Titleist bag.
The two sizes are 9.5 and 10.5, which one is better in your opinion?
Which are the bag sizes that players use in the tour?
Thank you.
G.
Trent WWaxahachie, TX
Get a 10.5. If you want a tour bag get the big one and while your at it have your name put on it too.
If you look and feel good you will play good.
Now go out and mix it up move it around and play it forward for more fun.

Unless you have a caddie to carry for you the 9.5 is probably the way to go. Anything larger is difficult to use on a cart.
ToddLAttleboro, MA
I have the 9.5 and love it. The 10.5 is simply too big for me. I find that the 9.5 has enough club space, and storage areas for me.
Go with the 9.5 and you will be very happy!

I have last years mid size staff bag. It still offers all the look and feel of the large staff bag but is smaller, slightly easier to carry and fits well in a cart with another bag or in a walking cart. This years mid size staff bag actually has more storage than last years and feels lighter. The only thing I would ask is if there is a sling like strap similar to the carry bags that can be used with the staff bags.

My 9.5" mid size fits on a cart snuggly... Any larger would be tough. I love it.... has all the room you need for rain suit, snacks, water... perfect.

I have the 9.5 and it fits my golf cart perfectly. I don't know if you could get the bigger one to fit right. My 9.5 is plenty big for my clubs as well. Hope this helps!
Steve HClearfield, UT
The 9.5 is perfect, holds all the clubs, and has my name and my support for TT....
Samuel CPhoenix, AZ
That's a sweet bag!! How did you get the TT embroidered on it? Also where did you get your name put on it??
I'm thinking of getting the 2013 staff bag and adding that TT with my bag tag would be sweet.
Jealous!!!
Thanks,
Sam

Titleist offers embroidery as an option when you order your bag. I think you need to have it ok'd to use the TT logo though? Not sure on that, hope someone will clarify this, I want to get this done also.

Team Titleist members can request to have the TT logo embroidered on any new bag they order via our custom team. Keep in mind, the logo can only be applied to new bag orders and we are not able to add it to an existing bag.
I hope this helps clarify.
Cheers,

I have to agree with everyone about the mid size staff bag. It fits perfectly in both a riding cart or when I'm using my push cart.
Although I don't have my name on my bag, I say go for it if you want to embroider your name on a bag. It's your bag. I'm not one of those golfers that think you have to be scratch in order to put your name on your bag. Life's too short. If you like it, then do it.
The only reason I wouldn't do it is because I'm an equipment junkie (also known by another name that might get my post deleted). I like to sell and trade golf stuff, so adding my name to anything might be problematic. :)

Hi Mike;
How do you order thru the custom team? Can the customized bags be ordered at Golf Galaxy or GolfSmith? Or thru golf clubs (their respective Titleist reps)? Thanks.
Carlo
Hi Carlo,
Any authorized Titleist golf shop can help you with a custom order. You'll just need to coordinate with them to go through the process. Thanks.

I ordered my custom lightweight carry bag through the golf shop this week. Will be nice to have during the summer and to show my TT pride.

When ordering a new bag, in addition to having the player's name embroidered on the bag, will Titleist also add other logos (i.e. my college logo or my firm's logo)?

Hi Mike,
Can Titleist have school logos or any other logos (of course appropriate ones) put on the new bag order?

[/quote]Hi Sam,
We do not hold the license for collegiate logos, so we are unable to embroider them on bags. If you were looking to have a high school logo added, the order would need to be placed on behalf of the school through and account. In terms of other logos, it really depends on the specific request and your best bet is work with a local authorized Titleist golf shop or your local pro to work with our custom team on the order.
I hope this helps answer your question.
Mike D:
Just got back an hour ago from PGA Superstore in Downers Grove, IL planning to order a 9.5 midsize staff bag with embroidery (i.e. my name and possibly either a Team Titleist logo and/or possibly my college logo (Western Illinois if it was available), but was told by a staff member there that he didn't know if they could order it embroidered, I then got passed on to another employee who said he had to call Titleist to find out if I could get the bag embroidered and whether any logos could be added (employee #2 didn't know what Team Titleist was, and said that he had no information or catalogs or pricing at all about custom work on a Titleist bag). Then after all that and standing around waiting for close to an hour I was told I had to come back another day during Titleist's business hours and they would check again then.
I was really excited about my AP2 order placed through White Pines Golf Course/Golf Dome earlier this week (after attending a Titleist demo day there recently) and was pretty gung ho about gettting a Titleist midsize staff bag too (to go along with the AP2s, the 3 Vokeys and Pro V1s that I play also). Right now, honestly, not so excited anymore and getting a little frustrated. You wrote (to Carlo in another posting) to check with the local authorized Titleist dealer, well, I did that, and they're saying I'm giong to have to check with the Titleist folks - basically you guys. I like golf better than png pong.
Giving up on Titleist for tonight...we'll see how "next time" goes if I venture out another day to try this again...... Any advice, recommendations or assistance would be greatly aprpeciated if you have any to offer.

Rich,
Don't blame Titleist for someone at PGA Superstore. They should be able to call and get information for you during appropriate hours. I had no issues getting my bag embroidered through my golf course. Maybe you could order from the same place you got your clubs.
Mike and the Titleist group are great to work with and I'm sure they can help you.
T Tiger: I'm not blaming anyone.....sorry if it came across that way. At the time I was just confused and was left wondering how to actually get it ordered. I've ordered bags in the past and your point is well taken about ordering through clubs becasuse that's where I got the other ones. But, in this case, it has been handled today. Mike D and the local Titleist rep and one fella at PGASS got it done pronto today. I don't think the e-mails made it into ths thread, but needless to say it turned out well and I've sent thanks to Mike D and the rep in my area as they were great, as you point out, and I received firsthand excellent treatment and response from them So trust that I hold them in as high regard as you. Now, if they can just get some warmer weather in my area... : )

Sorry to hear about your experience and frustration. I can assure you that our intention is to always help out as much as possible when providing guidance. I'm not sure why the shop provided you with the response that they did but I'll pass your note along to the team so they can look into the situation.
In terms of placing an order for a custom bag, if you want to give us a call at 1-888-TITLEIST we will help point you in the right direction, answer your questions and get you connected with a shop in your area that will help facilitate.
If you're looking for the Team Titleist logo on your bag, that is something we will definitely be able to help with. There are some other logos (i.e. collegiate logos) that we do not have the license for, so we wouldn't be able to customize but our custom team will do whatever they can to help make the process as easy as possible moving forward.
Again, sorry for the frustration you experienced and I hope we're able to turn this back around and get you set up.
Feel free to drop me a line at any time and I'll do what I can to assist.
Rich - Sorry to hear that you had issues ordering your bag. From my experience, finding helpful associates at some of the retail stores is an iffy proposition at best. You probably know more than the average employee at one of those stores. I wouldn't say this is a Titleist problem, but a training issue for the retail stores.
I would take the advice of some of the other guys and try to find a golf course professional or another retail location that knows what they are doing. There have been some great embroidered bags ordered recently and pictured on the forum. It can be done. You just need to find the right place to help you do it.
Hi Rich,
Just another follow-up. I connected with our local rep and he was hoping you could contact him directly so he can help you out. I sent you an email with the information. I hope this helps.

Wow, that's pretty cool
I'll get in touch with my rep to order a mid-size staff bag with the Team Titleist logo and my name in the front
Thanks
I posted this in another thread. But I got my embroidered bag in and its awesome.

I have a mid-size, a 9.5 and a 10.5 and I can tell you that the mid-size gets all of the use. It fits on a cart well and it is pretty easy to get around airports with. The 10.5 is just too big.
I normally keep a sweater vest, rain pants, rain top and a towel or two in the main pocket without any problems.
You can get you Titleist retailer to order you a bag with your name on it, but a word of caution...if you don't have the game having your name on the bag may not be the best decision you make.
james oMidlothian, VA
I have a 10.5 and a 9.5, my advice would be to go with the 9.5, they have plenty of space and fit on a cart easier if thats your thing.

I don't know what your budget is, or if you even have one...but I must ask...Why no love for the "Midsize Staff Bag"???? My wonderful girlfriend ordered one for me this week as my 1yr anniversary gift! If you want a trimmed down version of the 10.5 & 9.5, with the same amount of craftsmanship...slightly smaller pockets, but only a portion of the cost....it is the way to go. When you look at the fine detail, the Titleist Mid Staff Bag beats out all the other similar styles in this category.
New set of 712CB's are on their way...hence the empty bag...B-^-D

Hey
When you are looking at the bags I would recommend the 9.5 Tour Bag. If you are wondering what tour players are carrying they actually vary some have the 10.5 and some have the 9.5. Pick the one that you feel most comfortable with and make sure that you haven name put on the Front Pouch ( I prefer Block Print) and Signature on the ball pouch ( Miranda Cursive)
