  1. Morning, i have had a scotty for about 6 months and the grip has moved around the club a little which as i am sure you can imagine is very off putting... has anyone had this and how can it be resolved without cutting the grip

  2. wow, interesting situation…I suppose you could try to twist it back in position however that would be a temporary fix…I would replace the grip, IMHO.

    Cheers, Chris
  3. On another thought, You can have the grip removed and then re-installed …. It can be done with an airgun or solvent…..I do this with the rubber grips occasionally….
  4. Yes i have asked my local proshop to do this, i love the grip so am keen to keep it.

I would remove the grip and regrip with a new "Scotty Cameron" grip. I love the oversize grey Matador SC putter grip!!!! Butter!!!!

That is something i have not heard of before.

I agree with Chris about having the grip reinstalled.

    Good luck.

If grips are not properly installed with the right amount of glue this can happen. Some do their own and just use the double faced tape and this can happen, without using a proper glue. So it is possible. I always take mine to my local Titleist account to insure that they are installed correctly. Works best for me.

Sounds like it was never installed properly to begin with. If there isn't enough solvent to activate the glue on the tape, it won't hold. After a while, inside the grip will dry and lose adhesion. In my opinion for what it's worth. I would remove and replace with same grip if you love it that much. Just install it correctly :)
