I've been using this  set up and almost feel it's a littler overkill. Just wanted some in put from anyone who may have used this set up in the past. I'm thinking of taking the 19 hybrid out and putting in a 19 FW and then just lowering the loft on my 17 FW. I wish I had a better topic but this has been driving me crazy the last few months. I figured with the close setup up it might help my accuracy more than distance which would prove more beneficial in the long run? Thanks

It comes down to how you want your set made up. Do you need all the help in the long game or would you like to have an extra wedge? Most players have to compromise in one of these areas. Decide what is best for your game or find a fitter that can help give advice.

hi if its any help... I go with , 9.5' driver, 13' 3W, 17' and 24' hybrids and 6 thru A irons then 54 -58- 62 wedges . with the loft adjustibility in the Driver, FW and Hybrids I feel I'm covering most of the shots I see

I would get a 15.5* FW. Stick with the 19* hybrid if you hit it decent.

If 61 and a 20 handicap sound like you. I have a 24H, 21F, and a 17F.  I almost got a 27H, but decided instead to work on swing and body.  Had some fear about getting a 5I with my AP1s.  I'm half wondering now if I could have gotten a 4I.  But then I'd need a 21H. So I'll wait until I get to the great outdoors to see what this year brings. Otherwise I'd drive myself crazy.  Once I can get off of the plastic mats, I'll see what adjustments the fairways need to gap them.  Currently just using launch angle the 21F is set to 21.75 and the 17F is at 18.5, but I can de-loft them now.

Before driving yourself crazy, what are you missing now?  I had no success getting a 19H further than a 7W.  The 17F is useful from the fairway, I never got the 3W off of the ground, only used it off the tee.

First, what exactly is the problem you're trying to solve? Knowing nothing about you or your game, it does seem a bit bunched up there at 21/19/17. I understand the logic, above, but wonder if you're consistant enough for 2 degree gaps to really be meaningful. I'm sure not! If you want to swap out the 19H for a 19F, does that mean you hit the fairway woods better than the hybrids? I sure do. If you want to lose a club there, based on my game I'd suggest either 1) dropping the 19 all together and moving the 17 to 17.75 or 18.5; or 2) dropping the 17F, swapping the 19H for a 19F and tweak, since you'll hit the 19F further than the 19H. In either above scenario, you could tweak the hybrids to make nice 10-yard transitions. If you hit the F better than the H, you could also consider the 21F (possibly adding loft, see #2), then 17F. The extra club you gain could be put to use elsewhere. 3 wood? Extra wedge? I've thought about carrying two putters ... This is fun!
