Black hat turned brown

    I purchased my black mesh titleist hat a few weeks ago and the brim began to turn brown. I have tried to wash it using various methods but I've had no success. This is my third hat by the way, my last two got destroyed by the weather and normal wear and tear. They were all purchased from an authorized dealer so they're authentic. Would I be able to send it in to get a replacement?

    My cousin had the same problem? What do you recomend Titleist, or does anyone else have tips?

    Same thing here. Now its brown the whole way through except for the mesh.

    This is just going to happen with black fabric in the sun.  You can delay the process with 3M Scotch Gard spray. I do this to my staff bags and table covers also.  It doesn't hurt.

    This can happen because of the build up of sweat around the brim area. I have multiple black and white flex fit Titleist hats and I actually took them to my local dry cleaners. They charged me 5 dollars per hat and they look almost brand new. Its better then paying 25 for a new one.

    I have gone through 2 of the same hats in the last 12 months.  They are now only worn when I mow the lawn.  I had a guy ask me where I got the camo hat!  The sweat and sun just destroy them.  Too bad because I like them, new that is.  I've just gone to the white version.

    Perhaps you could buy a white hat?

    Or Avoid leaving the hat in direct sunlight.

    I had the same problem.  I have a new one that is only worn for good now.  Hate to ruin another $24.00 hat.  The lighter color hats also show the sweat stains.  Anyone with suggestions?
