I found a link to the online catalog. Pretty cool stuff...Looks like I'll be spending a grip of money next week.

Very interesting Mark. Thanks for the info.
Japan is one place where this probably makes sense. I'm sure its run way different than the US and Europe (where the main tours are).
Titleist is and always will be only on my clubs, bag, ball and hat. No offense but whatever they try to do apparel wise will never be on par with FootJoy. The caveat is any Vokey shirts or Team Titleist shirts that are FootJoy and it's just embroidery as I have those and will continue to have those in my closet.
If you want the Titleist embroidery on your shirt then you need to make friends with someone who can buy you a shirt from the company store in Fairhaven!
Just my two cents, to each their own.

I've just visited the store! It's fantastic, shirt fabrics are unique and designs are great too.
Bought new ball markers there as well.
Just visited the store and picked up a shirt. Great stuff... not the typical golf gear you would find in the states.

What is the website you go to order this stuff? I was browsing around on there and couldn't find anything, or let alone read half of the stuff. If you could post the link on here, that would be great!

Hey Adrian C and Mark L!
Would you be able to post images of your purchases ? :)
I rang them and it seems we cannot make orders over the phone nor online. I have friends over there though that can buy it for me and then send it.
Thanks guys.

I'll try to post pics later. I received a free sleeve of Japan only Titleist balls with my purchase. I'm going to try them out tomorrow (weather permitting) but I know it won't come close to the new ProV1x I've been using.

Mark,
Any chance of sending some insight on the process for ordering? Obviously the site needs translating. Looks like some great gear though. Hope you can help. Thanks

I couldn't find any links for ordering online. They may be limiting it to in-store purchases for now...
Buyer beware... If you are able to acquire any of this great gear, sizes run extremely small... even for Japan. I wear a medium back home in the States and had to buy an extra Large.

How did you make the purchase? Was it right on-line? I couldn't find the link to buy anything.
Thanks

I was wondering the same thing. It would be nice to find out how to order from the apparel store in Japan. Most of us are lucky enough to travel or work in Japan.

i want....no i need those white pom pom head covers
I would be shocked if Titleist did anything with apparel....
Titleist and FootJoy are owned by Acushnet and it's pretty clear the distinction between hard goods and soft goods.
FJ is the apparel group and they are making some of the best apparel in the business... if you haven't checked out their stuff lately, you should!

I totally agree, I can't see mother company letting Titleist get into the apparel biz after investing so much into FJ

Why Not! They were in it before. I used to have several Titleist shirts and a few vest as well. There is no reason Titleist should remain outside this from a business stand point. If the market is there, then you enter and promote it. How many companies out there today do you think would be in business if they refused to let only certain members of the brand be available with that narrow business scope. FJ will still remain strong but only if the two brands work together. There are market shares out there for the taking if Titleist chooses to go after them.

I could see a TT store with TT logo FJ apparel. Just sell the basic stuff like hats/outerwear/towels..
You never know these days.

I'm quite familiar with the Acushnet / Titleist / FJ relationship and own quite a number of FJ polos myself. I don't believe this apparel line is licensed under the FJ brand but I'll find out next week when I go there.
Let's not forget, the "mother company" is now Fila Korea and i would agree with many that they would not be dumb enough to interfere with Acushnet USA operations. However, they may be deregulating their apparel line outside of the U.S. and allowing spin off lines as evident here in Japan.
Hey all at TT,
I just found out that the Tokyo Titleist store may only be temporary - until end of June.

Yes, it does state that on the website that they plan to operate the store until the end of June. I thought that was weird when I first read it but the only rationale I could come up with is that they are using the store in Tokyo as way of launching the new line and then allow other retailers to carry it. I was at a golf shop in Osaka last week (Tsuruya) and they were advertising the Titleist clothing line with Feb.19 as their official launch date. Perhaps if it's a success, they'll keep the store... Just their way of testing the waters.

Will they export and will they supply larger sizes? The Japanese market has always had some cool gear...different from what's offered here in the U.S.

I am in Japan now and discovered the Japanese Titleist apparel two months ago. Learning that it is not offered in the US and that most stores will not ship outside Japan, I have been purchasing clothing before I leave. As for the sizes I wear a Mens medium in swoosh, Small in FootJoy, and LL (XL) in Japanese Titleist. The cally shirts marked LL are too small. If you wear a LL in Titleist you will wear a 3L (XXL) in every other Japanese golf apparel brand. As for trousers I had to settle with a 91cm because the legs are much smaller diameter than typical western clothing. 88cm fit my waist, 32", perfectly but the legs were too tight. The trousers are made so that they can be tailored. It is a shame that the clothing line is not offered in the US as it would be a big hit and our business goes overseas.

Some very cool offerings. I wonder who manufactures the shirts and shorts. I really love the quality of FJ stuff. It simply can't be beat. I'd love to see the Titleist logo out there a bit more. I realize FJ is the soft good provider, but some Titleist logos on FJ apparel can only strengthen the brand. If you have some extra room in your suitcase, please send me a message. I'd love to get my hands on some of this stuff.

Nice! If you plan on shipping anything back to the U.S. before you come home I would definitely be interested!
Unfortunately I had to order the apparel from a local golf store and it takes a week to ship from their warehouse and I will be gone by then. However you could call the Titleist store in Tokyo and see if they could ship it to you and the larger Japanese department stores, like Titleist, usually have an English speaking employee. The local shop here would not ship to the US but the Tokyo store may, I am not sure. Some of the apparel is sold on ebay but beware the price has been raised to roughly $220 after shipping. The shirts retail here for 9,800 to 11,00 yen which is around $100.
