I collect them also for the Marine Corps every Christmas. Three loads so far and more to come. A great charity to support.

We do the same, the wife and I buy kid's clothes,school supplies and toys year around.
We donate it all to different charities and always get a few kids from the giving tree at our son's school.
I know first hand how poverty can affect a child, specially during Christmas.
And honestly nowadays we both are fortunate to have good paying jobs, and enjoy giving back, specially for kids.
Even if means getting up at 5 am to wait in line and clear home depot out of barbies on black Friday, don't ask me why they had that on their blackfriday ad, but at 5 bucks, it meant a lot little girls are getting dolls this year.

We had our Tournament today,it was an overcast,but a rain free day. We filled up 6 large boxes of Toys,being a Veteran,this tournament means a lot to myself and the other Veterans. A Good Time was had by all
