    Hi Team Titleist - 

    This year certainly flew by for me and was filled with so many memories on and off the golf course. A golf moment for me that stands out amongst the rest was my weeklong trip to California, where I drove from San Clemente to San Francisco and played golf along the way. 

    As some of you may know, I reached out to the TT community for food (obviously) and golf suggestions for my road trip. I was pleasantly surprised by the infinite amount of tips, advice and suggestions for my journey - and for that I'm so grateful for this fantastic community of people who want to see one another enjoy the game. Some of my favorite moments from the trip: 

    Playing Sandpiper in Santa Barbara


    Walking all 18 holes at Pebble Beach during the U.S. Amateur and watching the best amateur golfers in the world. 

    Trying to catch a peek at Cypress Point. 

    Playing San Francisco Golf Club alongside my dad on a quiet morning as the fog lifted. 

    Ending the adventure in San Francisco at TPC Harding Park, home of the 2020 PGA Championship. 

    ...

    But enough about me. We want to know, what were some of your most memorable moments of the year? Did you teach your children how to play golf or introduce someone new to the game? Or did you go on a golf trip with friends you only see a few times or once per year? 

    We look forward to reading about your adventures this year and look forward to being a part of yours in 2019.

    Loved playing at Kiawah for the 2018 TTI! So great to meet so many amazing Titleist lovers and make lots of new life long friends!

    I made two good friends through random tee time pairings, so that was definitely the best thing this year for me.

    My best thing about 2018 was finally getting back to playing golf.
    2016 was my chemotherapy year and 2017 was a battle with West Nile with encephalitis.
    With all the damage our area suffered from Hurricane Harvey it took a while for our courses to recover and become playable.
    So I got cleared to resume golf activities and return to the game I love so much.

    I retired in Jan. and got to play a lot more golf.(130+ rounds). Abby, thank you for all you do.

    2018 was the year that my wife finally started playing golf. She started in January and has improved tremendously in 11 months. She can really bust it off the tee. She has made new friends at the club and is really enjoying it. My wife is a 2 time breast Cancer survivor, the 1st time was 20 years ago with a reoccurrence 4 years ago. I'm really happy that she finally found this great game. As they say, better late than never.

    Started with a Bandon trip in February while having pneumonia. Then got to play Streamsong Red in April. Made a trip to Pinehurst in July and checked #2 off my bucket list. TPC Las Vegas on my 60th Birthday in August. Back to Bandon in November. Best of all was the chance to join many of you at Kiawah Island and hit that one lucky shot for my closest to the hole wedge. Yes, definitely was a fantastic golf year.

    Looks like a great Trip Abby!
    2018 has been great for me, I was lucky enough to have my son make the high school golf team and I was able to be at most all his practices and tournaments. I also got to play with the coaches a few times at the tournaments. Now we're working on my daughter and she is showing interest as well. It doesn't get much better than playing golf with your family and friends.

    2018 was a fantastic year.
    I mean a mix of good and bad year, golf-wise it was great.
    The bad part, my bad back is really bad and spine fusion is a reality I cannot avoid anymore.
    Despite the pain, I played much better than I expected to play, and ended up being the league champion at my work, still, haven't received my trophy, but that is OK.
    Personally, it was a really good year, I am in a great place professionally, my wife and I were able to help a lot more kids for the holidays this year, I got to say, life is good.
    I also have dedicated more time to read and write on this community, and I got to say it has been a pleasure doing so.
    With 2019 being right around the corner, all I can wish for is to get my back fixed on the spring and hopefully be able to make to the TT event on the fall.
    I wish everyone a happy 2019.

    I was able to play golf with my dad in Florida, which was great. Additionally, I was able to start scoring well again. Otherwise an uneventful season.

    Great stuff so far; so happy for you guys.

    Played more golf in 2018 than I have in years, 50+ rounds.

    Highlights for me included a trip to Orlando in June to get together with five of my college roommates for our biennial gathering. We met as freshmen in 1986 and to this day are the best of friends but unfortunately are scattered throughout the country. Lots of laughs, lots of golf and a few cocktails later, the long weekend ended too quickly!

    I'm lucky that both of my sons play and nothing beats a late afternoon summer round followed by dinner at the club. My oldest will be off to college next year, I cherish these rounds more than either of them know.

    Finally, played in back to back member-guests with my FIL in September (one at his club, one at mine). I consider my FIL as one of my best friends, I truly hit the in-law lottery.

    2018 Golf Highlights:

    Started out celebrating my 40th Birthday in February with a quick weekend getaway to Streamsong to play the Red, Blue, and Black courses with my good friend Speedy. In March I spent some time in Charleston and Ashville area and got to play a few rounds of golf with my father along with some respite from the cold/snowy Wisconsin winters. In April, I had the opportunity to head to Pinehurst for a Titleist golf ball event. While there I played Pinehurst No. 1, The Cradle, and got a round in at Tobacco Road (a must play on any trip to the Pinehurst area). Late April and early May brought me back to South Carolina for some more golf with my father and then a buddies trip to the Ocean Course at Kiawah and more golf in Myrtle Beach. The summer was busy with some club events and playing some other area courses. October brought me back to the fine state of South Carolina for the 2018 TTI at Kiawah. The year finished off with winning my flight of my Club's year-long Match Play event. Looking back at 2018 and it was one heck of a year and will be tough to beat in 2019.

    This past year became more memorable than I had reason to expect. My son won the lottery for The Masters so I got to see a lot of great golf on Saturday. Then with an invite to TPI for a pre-marketing fitting for the TS line, got some time with Cathi and the Titleist folks there followed by a walk-on round at Torrey Pines South. With an anniversary trip to the UK, planned on playing Hanbury Manor and then my bride elected to add The Old Course Hotel at St. Andrew's. Won a lottery for the Old Course and played the New Course the following day. Came back to play a WSGA event at The Meadows at Blackwolf Run as a tune-up to go join the TT Invitational at Kiawah. The Invitational is such a wonderful atmosphere. I'm glad Titleist finds this to be productive way to generate product interest. Finally, closed the year with a weekend to Vegas and the TPC LV to get the clubs ready for a winter's nap. Many thanks to all of you I've come in contact with this year. I took up golf in my 60's as an activity I can continue and I've had the great fortune to be able to be able to enjoy the game even at my skill level.

    Abby - that backswing - great form!!!

    Golf for me in 2018 was great. Unfortunately, was unable to attend the ball event at Pinehurst, but made up for it by meeting a couple of TT and FJ members in Myrtle Beach for a round there. Always a good time with Chuck and Keith. My regular weekend foursome only missed 3 weekends this summer, and we played an away course for the first time together.

    The highlight of the year had to be the TT Invitational. It is always great getting together with old friends and making new friends at the same time. Also was nice meeting Michael Breed and having the opportunity to attend his workshop.

    As always, you, Mike, Liz, Rick and all of the TT staff helped make 2018 a great golfing year!

    2018 was definitely good to me. During the winter went to Streamsong and played all 3 courses with my buddy Higs while celebrating his big 4-0. Had a great time and what a great place for golf, highly recommend it. Then in May I took 2 back to back trip (my wife is a saint). First one went to S.C. with my Trash Panda buddies and had a fantastic week of golf with a great group of guys, flew home on a Saturday and flew out Sunday afternoon to Scotland to work on a Make Every Day Playable project with Footjoy. That right there was probably the highlight of my year. It was first class all around and Scotland is just a beautiful country. It was truly an honor to be a part of it and forever grateful. Then all summer just played when I could, got my handicap down a little, won a few bucks from some Pandas but lost more but hey I'll take what I can get. Money or no money it's always fun playing with my buddies.

    Over all a great year of golf for me. Always learning new things and loving the game more and more. I'm lucky to play this game with great people with a great brand, Titleist.

    2018 saw me dump my "non-Titleist" irons, wedges, driver, and hybrid and replace them with 718 AP1s, SM-7s, TS2, and 818. I've played quite a few rounds with them thus far, and I'm 100% satisfied with the $$$ spent. I'm REALLY looking forward to 2019, and playing even more.

    Congrats Abby on playing some great courses! Especially SFGC (tough course to get on to). 2018 saw me go completely to the Titleist camp. Best decision in terms of golf I ever made. Especially being a part of the TT community!!

    TS3 Driver & Fairway, 718 AP1’s, 818 H1, Scotty Cameron 2018 Select Squareback. It was a Titleist year, and it was very merry indeed. The TS3 Driver and Fairway definitely helped me end my season on a high note...amazing clubs, big THANK YOU, to all the fine folks at Titleist, you knocked it out of the park in 2018

    Playing numerous rounds with my son this summer and watching him develop so much. Golf is truly a game that we can share forever.
