It's been a 30 month drought but today, it ended with a striped 8 iron shot from 132 yards into the wind on the 6th hole of the Oak course at Walnut Creek CC. It could be blamed on my ProV1 ball, my Footjoy DryJoy Tour pink saddle shoes the FJ Lisle shirt or Merino wool lined 1/4 zip sweater. My playing partners told it "Operator Error". I'll accept that. It's fitting this was my 8th "operator error.
