Hello Team Titleist,
Just sharing my recent experience here after being on the fence to be refitted again after three years or so for irons. I gave in and did my self a favor and did it. I was going to wait till after an upcoming series of team matches so not to interfere with my goals- normally, I'm not good about changing anything at all before some competition, but I took a leap of faith.
Anyway, the numbers looked good for distance and dispersion, but because it was very good, I was in disbelief- I hope that make sense to you. So I went in again and got fitted two more times- all these took place at different places in LA & Riverside county in SoCal. All three times, the AP3 was #1 choice for the head, and the NS Pro Modus Tour 105 was #1 choice on the shaft. After the third fitting with the same result, I didn't wait long so now I've had the clubs in the bag now for ten days.
Last Saturday was the 8th day of it being in the bag and only logging two rounds in then and one range day for an hour only as it has been raining (who would have thought rain for Southern California). The matches required us to play our low of the year which was a 7 for me. I ended up scoring two strokes over my handicap with my match not getting any more than two up/down all day with my opponent- it was a fun match, but somehow I'm not surprised, pendulum pointed with the double u bonus in my favor.
Given that, what I really think about the club I now own is that I feel that it's just warming up to me. I know I'll be enjoying the rest of the match season, but my goals will have to be adjusted to a new level. I am only almost 62, but I'm seeing things I'm capable of back from ten years ago and they are being proven each time I go out whether it's range time or on course with these set of AP3. It is insanely good and I'm inspired to work on my game even more. AP3 is a superior and a premium club for sure, and I'm glad I'm in that fit. @Titleist, you make the best golf equipment. I can't say enough good things obviously.
Thanks.
