    Just want to send a BIG THANK YOU to Mike and Liz at Team Titleist! They put together a fantastic tour of Ball Plant III (Home of the ProV1 and ProV1x) followed by a visit to the Manchester Lane Test Facility.

    A number of Team Titleist Community Members were invited to this event. We were able to meet Bill Morgan, the Director of Golf Ball R&D, along with his team of very dedicated and hard working (if you think hanging out and testing golf balls is hard work!) staff. Mike Gibson was on hand to do some ball fittings, a great lunch was served and the final surprise of the day was the chance to hit quite a few shots with the new 910 Drivers.

    If any of you get an invitation to attend a Team Titleist event, all I can say is do whatever it takes to be there! You will not be dissappointed.

    Wow that's awesome!  If you took any pictures you should post them.  I am always fascinated by factories.  I love the Titleist commercial where they show the Pro V getting picked up by some prong and seemingly electrified.  Does that really happen?  It would be really cool to see how they make everything.

    Yes, they do actually treat a ball component with high voltage electricity before the ball is finished. Unfortunately photos are not allowed inside the factory or I would have some to post.

    Yeah I figured as much.  Well that's cool that they actually do it, and it's cool that they let people behind the curtain.  I hope Team Titleist continues to do stuff like this in the future.

    I'm jealous.  19hole has a knack for getting to tour facilities (FJ).   I agree with the previous comments...hope you have some pics to post.

    What a great day, I was also part of the very selective group that was able to tour PlantIII and then head out to Manchester Lane with the Team Titleist crew.  What a great group of professionals.  I can't say enough for the experience and opportunity I received yesterday!!!   It was certainly something I will remember and spread the word.

     

    Good luck to all of the Titliest players this week and I hope to see some of you over there.  I will have my new Team Titleist FPL hat all weekend!  Enjoy the gold and hopefully Earl will find a better path, out to sea!

    We're so glad you enjoyed your Special Team Titleist event.  We were all as excited about sharing our pride in the Golf Ball Manufacturing Facility, Manchester Lane and of course a chance to hit the new 910 Drivers.
