We are just finishing up our tree work at my course at the Jersey Shore. We still have some winter left. But yesterday morning, I saw a patch of Daffodils up about an inch. That put a smile on my face. Any signs of spring at your courses up here in the mid-Atlantic?? Play Well, Steve S.

The courses I play in Northern NJ (Crystal Springs Resort) are all closed. No sign of spring yet. Made it to the range yesterday to get some work in.

Spring is not that far away, April 13th. With the temperatures we have been having in the Charleston area this week, which have been close to 80*, know it is close at hand. Of course it dropped twenty degrees today. Typical February in the low country. No excuse for the bad golf I have been playing lately. Tempo, tempo, tempo.....the success to fun golf....like the success of a good business opportunity......location, location, location.....back to the course on Monday and see how it goes....the beautiful weather we have here keeps us smiling also, most of the year.....cheers everyone.....

A lot of trees are budding out but I am pretty certain we will have another frost spell.

Well, we got our round in yesterday. It was 28 degrees when we teed off at 9:30am. But this morning, my daffodils have 3 inches of snow on them, with more snow tomorrow. So much for signs of spring!!
    Play Well,

Spring...such an abstract question! Snow on both ends from Madison to Seattle canceled a business trip this week. If not wearing a down parka this week is a sign, then, that's as good as it gets.

Signs of spring in Scotland are snow drop flowers and baby lambs running about the fields, they were out in February last year. Then 2 foot of snow came end of March/ start of April delaying golfing season lol

Was trimming one of my rose bushes yesterday as I normally do this time of the year and looked on the ground and there was a rose bud. Global warming I guess, but some say there is no such thing. Just an early spring. =)

You're Killing me Smals! Sitting here now as the snow is falling, the roads are junk, and waiting for it to turn into sleet and then freezing rain. The only Titleist gear I will be using are my Titleist mittens and knit cap to snow blow the driveway later. Making TT dolls right now to stick pins in for you southerners, for your rubbing it in for us northerners. Gonna send one out to Don in Wisconsin so we can share the "duty". Misery loves company.

Yep, 6 to 12" of snow headed to Vermont tonight thru tomorrow afternoon..........
  17. Played in North Wales today. Not a new leaf in site but a few brave crocus were poking through...
Some spring lambs in evidence too.
Weather was what we British described as "Brisk" ie a cold wind that is in your face on all 18 holes!
It's not conducive to good golf er good scoring but it's a nice walk in good company.
