Great news came in to us this week from The PGA Club, host of the Women's PGA Winter Stroke Play Championship. Titleist Staff member, Joanna Coe took top honors!
In a scintillating comeback, Joanna Coe, PGA (Baltimore Country Club) won the Women's PGA Stroke Play Championship in Port St. Lucie Florida. After day one Coe was 4-over-par and 10 places behind the Day One leader. However, during Round 2, Coe pushed her way up to the top of the leaderboard by carding eight birdies for a 64 (-8), which was the lowest single-round ever scored on The PGA Club's Ryder Course. The 64 was also a personal-best for the former Rollins University standout.
In the third and final round, Coe teed off in the final group. She shot 2-over, good for a 2-under-par total and a one-stroke margin of victory.
Congratulations, Joanna!
