On Saturday I got my 4th eagle on my home course from the medal tees. Titleist 917 driver, AP3 6 iron and a ProV1 done the trick. It brought my best score down to 48 and my average down to 82.2 on HowDidiDo statistics. What’s your best score and average score round your own home course?

    2010 I started playing golf off 15 I’m now down to 6.

Congrats on the Eagle. I just got my first hole in one after 45 years of playing, if I can happen to me, it can happen for anybody!! Hope you don't have to wait that long!

Congratulations on your hole in 1 Robert.
45 years is a helluva long time but as they say all good things are worth the wait! One good shot transforms a bad round to a good round and keeps us coming back to try for more. Hope you keep enjoying the grind.

Congrats! To you too Robert. You give me hope. Just hit 48 years without an ace for me. Have had the ball go in, but bounce back out on par 3's twice.

Thank you Tom. I’m sure it will happen for us all at some stage of our golfing life. Patience is the key. Happy golfing. ‍♂️

Great stuff... Congrats on the eagle!

All I can say is be patient on that HIO... it comes in the least expected moment.

    Nice work!

    Thank you Sir

I know it’s not something to chase or you’re going to be disappointed a lot. I play minimum of 3 times a week so it’s only a matter of time before one rolls in for me.

    Keep swinging away.
    All the best.

In my opinion, what you did is harder. Congrats!

Quick update on my wait for a hole in one....the wait is over I achieved it on Saturday on the 10th hole at my home club. 137 yards 9 iron to a blind green in our handicap club championship qualifier.
What a feeling knowing I done it and made even sweeter that it was close to another green and tee that was occupied with my mates so it was a celebrated well with good people.

Thanks Titleist for my HIO bag tag and certificate. I’ll carry the tag on my bag with pride.

I have been playing since 1980 and have made eagle on all the par 4'S on my home course. Maybe someday an ace will happen.

Eagle on all par 4s is incredible
I’ve played since 2010 so I’m delighted to get one so quickly, better golfer than are still waiting I feel very lucky
  13. I've ironically already had an ace back over about 12 years ago, had many many more close calls and even a few that I thought went down from blind shots on the tee looking at hole.. The one I couldn't see in twilight when it was dark was the one of course that went down after I looked all around the green for it everywhere until I finally just about gave up and ran over and checked the cup as it was getting dark, I knew I hit it pure I just couldn't see the ball flight on tail end when it was landing even though I knew it was dead at it but just thought it would have run by with a 5 iron landing and rolling out..

The ironic part I was talking about was that I hadn't had an Eagle in quite some time, and then I finally made one last weekend after hitting a bomb off tee box on par 5 down the left hand side of fairway.. Hit an even better perfect 5 iron on in two that rolled up into front leaving me with about 35-40 feet for Eagle at least.. Hit it and it slowly just kept the correct pace and speed, then it caught side door of cup and tried to bounce around back up out of it from that distance down hill a little bit then dropped back in.. Eagles sure give you a nice little adrenaline dump similar to a Hole in one..
  14. I had an ace back over 12 years ago, but ironically I hadn't had an Eagle in a long time.. I finally did last weekend, pure'd a drive on par 5 down left hand fairway.. Got on with a smoked 5 iron, then was left about 40 feet for Eagle and it just slowly kept line and pace and then dropped. Was pretty adrenaline boosting...
