    Who's up for a visit to the 603?

    I’m happy to announce I got the approval to host a Team Titleist outing at Portsmouth Country Club in Greenland, NH. After 4 years being on the waiting list, I finally got in and believe it or not it’s always been a goal of mine to host a Team Titleist outing at Portsmouth. When Josh G. aka Hotsauce hosted an event like this a few years ago at his course, I had a blast meeting so many new people and this was something I wanted to have someday.

    Portsmouth CC was built in 1901, designed by Robert Trent Jones. This is a course I never get tired of playing and worth every penny. A course that requires every club in your bag b/c you never know what Mother Nature is gonna throw at ya. From the conditions to the scenery, it never disappoints. I'm very lucky to finally be a member. Here’s a link to their site (Not a lot of content but it's a start)

    Details:

    • Date: Saturday, Sept. 28th Tee times will be after 1:30

    • Location (along the seacoast of NH): Portsmouth Country Club 80 Country Club Lane Greenland, NH

    • Open to the first 16 people that sign up, well 15 I think I’ll go :)

    • Cost: Green fees are $70 and w/ a cart $90. It’s a walk able course, an enjoyable one.

    • Prizes for all Par 3’s closet to the pin (pro shop credit)

    • 19th hole will be open until 8 and if people wanna continue the fun, there are a few good breweries around town.

    Any other questions please don’t hesitate to let me know. I'll be honest, this is my first time hosting an event like this so I'm a little nervous and will do my best to make sure everyone has a great time.

    Gosh, this sounds a lot of fun, and the course photo looks great, Speedy! I'm actually in Long Island the day before (I'm in Cali)... it's still a long shot but obviously I'm dying to go... I'll need some luck to make it happen.

    Hope you can make it Noel, it would be great to meet you in person. If not, have a great time in Long Island and maybe someday our paths will cross

    Speedy, I'll need to head back home on the 27th. I tried hard, but the Mrs. wants me home after a week of being away. (gosh that was difficult to type...)

    Played there a few times. The 12th hole is a monster, always into the wind it sems.

    UPDATE: As of now I have 9 players (7 spots remaining) and a few Titleist staff members that may join us. Cut off date is Sept. 18th

    Any spots I don't fill I'm going to ask a few Portsmouth members to jump in and help out a group with the course and where to hit, etc

    Looks like there’s 2 more spots left. I do have some PCC members as back ups in case we don’t fill all the spots to play with us. I figured having one in each group would help some of you out if you have any questions.

    Really looking forward to meeting some new members and seeing old ones again. Hope everyone will enjoy the course and the company.

    Also, everyone that is going can you please DM your email address. I will send out a group email as we get closer with more information.

    Sounds good. At the moment there's a few spots remaining and there have been some interest so waiting on them as well. Wasn't expecting to fill up this quickly but happy to see it.
