In a very unfortunate event, my 3 wood got dented. I'm wondering if it will affect playability or just cosmetics? What do you guys think?

Mainly cosmetic but if you keep hitting it on that spot i guarantee it will impact the playability. I had a driver a few years back that had a dent in the back from dropping it on the cart path. Didn't affect the play but i hated seeing it everytime i teed off so i eventually traded it in. Oh well, at least you get to play. Have fun out there.

Yuck! Not even while playing... That's like banging something into your car while it's just parked in the garage. Is it a TS or one of the older models? If not a TS, good excuse for the upgrade. If a TS, might be worth the cost of a repair. Better days ahead.

That is pretty bad. I would take it by a repair shop and ask a professional. Me, I would not use it....just saying.....that is a significant boo boo..... =(

Darn man, thats tough. I dont know if it actually does has any impact on the playability or not, but I personally would think it did every time i pulled it out of the bag. That is not a very cheap replacement though..

My bad. Global golf has a TS2 3 wood right handed 15* for $109 regular shaft.....

That is unfortunate and in the worst possible spot. No way to play without looking at it and reminding you. I would be interested in helping you out. I can't figure out how to send you a personal message. If you can send me one I have a TS2 15* that I can't use and would be willing to donate to you. It is a shame to have it sitting in the closet when someone has a need for one. Doesn't launch high enough for me off the ground and went to a 16.5.

I had a smaller dent than that on my TS2 and sent it to a place in Raleigh (forget the name, but they did great work). Looks brand new now. I believe the TS2 line has very thin crowns that are easily dented…

I have sent the friend request to Elson, hopefully that will get the ball rolling. In the meantime I'll start looking through my closets for the club head.

Keep me in mind if the new head doesn't work out. I would be happy to send it to you as I have no intention of using it and haven't even looked at in a year.

Elson, I have the 3 wood head located. If you want me to send it give me a call. It is just gathering dust.

This made me super sad. I've got some small scratches on my 913 3 wood and that eats at me but I've had it for so long so it's not quite the same.

Glad you got it replaced. Still have an extra if you should happen to experience another oops.
