    I recently bought a launch monitor for hitting in to a net at my house, the launch monitor has 15 parameters of ball/club data it monitors on each swing. Out of the 15 parameters my thought on the 4 to look at closely are carry, spin, AOA and V launch. Interested to know what other people think are important parameters are in order to improve.

    Maybe ball speed / club speed (smash factor)? For me it tends to indicate if I'm finding the center of the club face (I'm pretty erratic).

    Which LM did you buy? They all have their strengths and weaknesses. You should understand these before you put too much stock into a specific number.

    Land angle, ball speed and if it can club path/face angle.

    Nothing to add to this discussion but very interested in listening. I'm thinking very hard about dropping some bucks on a launch monitor and wonder if the results are worth the investment. In other words, what would be a good monitor for backyard / range use and how do you use the results you're getting from the monitor to better your game?

    Depends on the club. For a driver, I focus on club speed, ball speed, smash factor, spin, height, launch angle.

    Irons changes to AOA, dynamic loft, spin, face angle.
