Staff Bags.. Yes, I think I'm going to add another brand bag to my collection.

I have all 8 or 9.5 in tops. While they work, they do get cramped together. I'm wanting the big boy, 10.5 S-82 model.

I ride in a cart most of the time, but will only take the bag out once in a while. Will the 10.5 fit on an electric cart?

I'm trying to figure out if the S-82 is alot larger front to back where it would be hard to strap to a cart to ride. I'm wanting the bigger bag because of the extra storage on the front of it..

Anyone have the big bag on a cart, or tried it? Or should I just give up and get the 9.5 that is a probable bet to fit??

    Thanks

  2. The S-82 will fit...however, it will be a little awkward. If you're looking for a "cart bag", I'd go with the S-83.

    Thanks for the reply David.

What do you mean awkward? Will it be hard for someone to put a bag on the cart with it, or will it have to be turned in a different direction to fit?

I wanted the 82, because of the extra pocket on the front of the bag for balls, tees and such.

If it's going to be a pain, or sit in the cart rediculously, then I should abandon the idea and just go with the 83 that should fit for sure..

The 83 does fit good on a cart, correct?

  4. Awkward as in...it'll fit on the cart, but, the cart bag straps have to be long/big enough to wrap around it. There's a guy at my club that has an S-83 and it fits better than the S-82. With the S-82, it's also a little harder to fit another bag on the cart. It'll be a very tight squeeze and access to pockets will be limited. I usually either walk or have a caddie, so...

Don't get me wrong, the S-82 will fit, but, like I said, the main thing is whether or not the straps/lock(s), would be big enough to hold it in place. Titleist does make a cart bag: http://www.titleist.com/accessories/cart-bags/lightweight-cart-bag.aspx  and a midsize bag: http://www.titleist.com/accessories/cart-bags/midsize-staff-bag.aspx , perhaps one of those will fit your needs a little better.

I'm almost positive that both the S-83 and S-82 have front pockets. No worries there. Another idea, is the Titleist Fleece Valuables Pouch: http://www.titleist.com/accessories/overview.aspx?tab=2  ...You could always clip a couple to your bag to make your golf balls, tees, etc., a little more accessible.
