My first practice session after the PGA Show…

I set up the tees approx. 18” behind the cup, and hit putts with the sole purpose of rolling the ball to the tees.…no matter the distance of the putts (4’ - 50’). REALLY HELPED ME gain a better understanding of distance….putts started falling in, too! This is now one of my “GO-TO” exercises going forward. Might help you, too…try it!

Let me know how you do!

Thanks for putting suggestion. For me, I find the best way to dial in distance control, especially before I start a round, is to find the flattest and longest area on the practice putting green and see how close I can get to a target (could be a hole or a tee). I'll roll a few of those before my round and it really helps me to avoid those annoying 3 putts.
  3. Sounds like a good practice idea

    May have to try it
