    In keeping with our desire to have local Team Titleist outings and the fact that I have moved from the San Diego area to the Phoenix area, I am hosting the first of what should be an annual golf day in the Phoenix area. We have picked Friday, May 12th as this year’s date. Late enough where the 2-season residents have left but not so late as to be the hot part of summer. I need a commitment from 20 players before the golf course will block us exact tee times. Next year we will expand the amount of spots once we show success for this year’s outing. We will be on one of the four courses here in Sun City Grand, probably Cimarron GC. If you want to get on the play list, please send me an email at 2vinsons@cox.net and I will create a correspondence email to keep you posted on details. Please respond ASAP if you want to play as the sooner I can show the pro shop we have a guarantee of 20 players, the sooner we can lock in the details of course, rates, and tee times. Normal public rates are $85 but we might be able to get a slightly lower rate if I can lock in attendees soon. Locals or out-of-area travels are all welcome as the Phoenix area is a great place to spend a full weekend. Hope to see some of you soon.

    Sorry for the short notice but a go or no-go decision based on participation will be done this Friday so please respond quickly if you plan to attend. We have 6 players right now, need 14 more. If we have to postpone we will not do another local out here until next spring as summer heat, other outings, fall overseeing, and winter crowds will get in the way.

    I will play all summer long. I handle the heat better than the cold. 50+ years in Texas carrying my clubs while playing 100 degree summers. Having this in May before the real heat sets in for those who don't care for really hot weather.

    So far, we have only 10 participants. The course requires a minimum of 20. I will monitor my email this weekend and if we are still short Monday morning, we will defer until next year. I was hoping we would have more local TT members around Phoenix step up and want to participate. If you are still interested and did not send an email yet, please respond ASAP.

    I might can play before but catching a flight to Eugene OR on Sunday when we check out of the TTI for a week in Bandon.

    Running into the same thing with my Patriots Golf Day in Charleston. Twenty tee times and only one check received.

    Officially deferred until May 2024. There is not enough time to get additional players and still meet the timeline. Maybe some folks that were not able to get into this year’s TTI will be interested in coming next May. I should have details around March for signing up. Hopefully everyone has a chance to experience some events in 2023.
