For me, I have always wanted to be a Titleist player but initially was just not good enough to play their clubs very well (this was many years ago). I, too, started with TM, the old Bubble shaft irons (which I actually still have), a Ram driver and whatever fairways I could find. I moved up to Cally's but still wanted to play Titleist, and my very first Titleist club was a DCI Oversized SW. Then I added the the old 975D driver (still have that, too). When the T300's arrived, I was more than ready to make the switch. I had already switched to all Vokey wedges, but slowly began swapping out all other clubs to Titleist each new season. Now my bag is full Titleist. They've improved my game so much that I've dropped to a single digit handicap.

I wouldn't change back to any other club for anything.

It really is nice how Titleist looks after all golfers now and any handicap can play their clubs!

No need to switch, there have been Titleist clubs and balls in the bag since the 1980's.

In 2011 only Titleist and png offered full lines to LH. Still mostly true today. The AP1 looked more like a golf club than the G10. …QED….
This forum offered me a way to learn more about golf, as I had only taken it up to play more than an annual round a year earlier. Part of the education was to learn that Titleist offered more than balls. That was the surprise to me as I thought I could get fit for Cobra irons. Acushnet had just divested that division.
Fitness centers didn’t offer specifically much to improve golf fitness. TPI instructors have improved me both off and on course.
What’s not to love?

Like when we were kids and rode that merry-go-round looking to grab that golden ring. Same with golfers in looking for the perfect golf club. Titleist offers us mentally and physically that golden ring. Guess the ringer was that Titleist did not change the clubs every six to twelve months when I was looking. Titleist gave me a vote of confidence and a great feel when I hit their clubs knowing they were building a darn good product.

For me it started in High School golf. Our coach gave us a sleeve of Titleist golf balls before each school meet. DT 90's Black over red. After high school I used various manufacturers including some Titleist clubs. In my late 40's I bought a set of AP1 712's after playing Callys for about 8 years & to me the difference was to me was how they felt when the ball came off the club face. I then switched all my clubs over to Titleist and never looked back or even thought of changing clubs. I now play T200 (2019 models) TSR2 driver & 3 vokey wedges with a pro V1 ball.

I've been playing Titleist woods ever since I first started playing golf back when woods were wood and shafts were steel, We're talking 1972!! Looking at that date, that really was a long time ago.Although not an iron convert (yet), I've since added Titleist hybrids, Vokey wedges and Cameron putters to the mix. I was a low single digit for many years, and the relatively small club head of Titleist woods, compared to competitors, really suited my eye.I loved the way they set up and gave me the confidence to work the ball any way I wanted.As far as Cameron putters and Vokey wedges, they've been in the bag for as long as I can remember,and will remain there.
The quality and craftsmanship of Titleist products are second to none.

As for the irons,I was close to pulling the trigger a couple times over the years but never found a model I really liked.......but there's always hope.

I played png for most of my life, but was in a bad car accident in 2008 and had to stop playing. Surgery was effective, and in 2022 my cousin asked me to fill in for someone at his annual guys trip, but since my clubs were really old, he arranged rentals for me, and Streamsong has all Titleist rentals. I had fun so I decided to get fit and now I have a full bag of Titleist clubs and am more addicted to the game than I ever was.

I have played Titleist golf balls since the late 80's. Tour Balata's were my favorite. Back then I always played my dad's old clubs. Mostly blades since that's what they all were back then. In 2000 when I got into the golf industry I had decided to buy my first new set of irons, a set of DCI 990's.

From 2003 to 2010 I was a Titleist Staffer. Even when I got out of the industry in late 2010 I still preferred Titleist over anything else out there. I don't think I'll ever play anything but Titleist anymore.

For me it's all about quality, feeling, view when addressing the ball, and sound.

Titleist, Scotty Cameron and Vokey have all that for all players. You have the complete line with a lot of research behind, and high quality standards.

I have some friends that play very well, and they use other brands, and most of them had issues with quality, and switched to other brands.

At one point I thought the Titleist line was only for players who could really strike the ball, but now a days you have clubs for all players from a professional level to a 30 or 40 handicap player.

And, of course, we wouldn't have as much fun as we do with all the events Titleist does every year. Great community.

It's something with the looks and feel to me. I've tried other brands and I keep coming back to Titleist. For some reason I feel more comfortable and confident with Titleist clubs.

I have always had some sort of Titleist product in the bag for what I can remember. It was mainly the ball starting with the Professional 90, then the Tour Prestige and the first Pro V1. Here and there I would have a fairway or driver or a wedge occasionally. I became full Titleist bag in 2018 after I got tired of the other OEM's releasing new product every year making what I had obsolete if you will.

From 2018 and my initial fitting at TPI, I was hooked and bought in.

No need to go elsewhere for anything as Titleist and Footjoy have it all.

For me it started back in 1967 when I signed up to be a caddie at a local private club. Didn't get many chances as I was only 12 years old and not very familiar with the course or the game. Just looking for a few extra dollars. I grew up in a "financially challenged" family and golf clubs were considered a luxury. When I got to high school I signed up for a few golf summer programs but still could never afford clubs. At the courses I would see many different clubs, and the png, Acushnet & Titleist always seemed to be the most desired brands. It became a dream of mine to some day own a set, but I just wasn't good enough for them. Once I started working for a living I bounced around with several cheap game improvement designs, and usually would end up with a good used set or a closeout item. My first new purchase was cally but still had that dream of the png or Titleist clubs. Wasn't until the 714 AP1 came out that I got serious about what clubs to play, and I wandered over to a Titleist fitting event at a course in Sacramento out of curiosity. Someone didn't show up for their scheduled fitting and the fitter offered the spot to me so I thought "what the heck". That fitter changed my view of purchasing clubs forever. Finally got my bag of Titleist clubs and pretty damn proud of it. I like that Titleist keeps it simple and seems to put a lot of focus on performance as opposed to some fancy name, look or color. I probably tend to keep my clubs longer than most serious players, and my 718 AP1's are as good to me as anything else out there. This year i plan to get fitted and see how the new clubs work out. Are there better performing clubs out there? Maybe, but I don't think I'll be looking to find out.

The first set of irons that I purchased for myself were Titleist (DCI Oversize Black). Thinking back to then and now, I still believe across the board, Titleist is the best equipment a player can put in their hands for feel, performance, and consistency.

I started with Tommy Armour 845s and the cally Big Bertha Irons. I went around and around for years and then started with the 975J and some 695 MBs, then added some vokey wedges several years ago, Scotty Putter and before you know it I had a full set. I have been delighted ever since...

My first adult set of clubs were left to me by my grandfather; set of Ginty with persimmon woods. At that time, Titleist was what good players used and I was far from that. Once I got serious about the game, I made the switch and haven't looked back. At times I have been persuaded to try a different brand putter, wedge or fairway wood, but always find my way back. You can't beat the quality and the confidence that comes from it.

I started with a full set of TM burner irons and woods, putter and a random sand wedge. When I got hooked on the game, I became interested in the craftsmanship of Titleist products, starting with a Scotty putter, Vokey wedges and Titleist woods. I played Hogan Apex irons for several years before switching to the 714 AP2s which I absolutely love. I’ve upgraded the woods and Vokeys since, but I’m still gaming the same Studio Stainless for over 20 years.

I got my father's hand me down MacGregor blades when I was young, moved to miz, Henry Griffitt's, then Titleist blades in the mid-90's, been here ever since. I've used other woods along the way, as well as png putters. I've hit all the competitors forgings (I have 2 friends that are staff fitters), they do feel great, not enough for me to switch!

My journey began 1978 when wife bought me Tour Model Blades for Christmas! Titleist irons in bag ever since. All models from DCI, 755’s, APs, CB, T200 to my present T350s! Also drivers as well! Best in business!!

My first clubs were given to me, when I first bought clubs of my own I bought TM burners with the bubble shafts and Wilson irons as they were cheaper for someone who wasn't very good. In the early 2000s I went to Dicks to buy a new TM driver and they had old stock 975J drivers for the same price as the TM driver so I bought the Titleist. Next came the 3w, a 980 series and eventually a used 906F 5w. I had Cleveland TA1 blades, Cleveland wedges and putter from 2001 until the early 2010s when I bought my first Titleist irons and wedges (AP1 and SM4s), and the putter was the last one when I finally shelled out the $400 for a Scotty (I now have 2). In total I've had 6 Titleist drivers, 4 sets of irons, 4 sets of wedges, and probably a dozen fairway woods/hybrids. But yeah, it honestly started just because they had a Titleist driver at the store I went to for a comparable price.

I didn't start playing till I was 55yrs old. Not serious anyway. Had worked at a golf course for 17yrs and always the way Titleist clubs looked. Didn't take long to fill my bag with all Titleist. And now after a dream trip to Manchester Lane. The new TR350s are in my bag. Love the company. Love the merchandise. Love the folks both staff and the rest of us.
