Might not be the place to post this, but trying to keep my footjoys cleaner. While in the military after polishing my shoes or boots I would use a thing called "edge black" that I would put around the sole of the shoes as a final touch to make it look good.

Can't do it on the golf shoes these days, but I would like to really clean my shoes. Do you all use any special foam shoe cleaner to get the shoes nice and clean? Something that will work on all colors and both synthetic and leather shoes.

Also to all the guys and gals who served,,,,, Have a Happy Veterans Day.... Enjoy.

Thank you for helping me enjoy my freedom. AIM HIGH!

Have used saddle soap to clean my FJs for years. Surprised one day when we were doing an event at the TPC at Myrtle Beach. Was talking to the gentelman who cares for the members shoes who has been in the business for many years. We were discussing the best way to clean leather shoes and he said he always used saddle soap. I keep cedar shoe trees in all my shoes as well. I have more than one pair and rotate them. They last a good number of years. For white shoes with black marks Mr Clean majic erasers work real well. You can buy saddle soap at most shoe repair stores (small can $15), but I buy mine from Tractor Supply Stores (large can $9).

Besides the occasional waxing, I wipe them down after each round using "Tub O Towels" cleaning wipes.

I have a pair of white traditions that are dirt and mud magnets. I usually just wipe them down immediately after play with a wet towel and that's normally good enough. If they're exceptionally dirty, I'll take a soft nylon bottle brush and scrub with Dawn dish soap + water, then wipe down with a clean dry towel.

I find a good wipe down after my round works well to keep the Traditions looking clean and sharp. I usually walk and after my round, I'll head over to the cart return area and borrow the air compressor gun to blow off any loose debris and dirt from my shoes and then wipe down with a wet towel. It does the trick.
