I had the opportunity yesterday to tour Ball Plant 3. What an awesome experience. I’ve always known that Titleist is the #1 ball in golf but my plant tour experience solidified it. I want to thank the staff and our tour guide for allowing me the chance to see how ProV1 & ProV1X’s are made.

I now have a great understanding of why their golf balls are such high quality. There is so much that goes into producing a Titleist golf ball. Every single phase of the manufacturing process is painstakingly thought out and planned. All throughout the plant, there are quality control measures that insure that a substandard golf ball does not leave the plant to be sold. Even the slightest flaw gets the ball rejected. Most times it’s rejected only for cosmetic flaws, while the quality of the ball remains unchanged. Regardless, those balls that do not meet quality are cast out while those that have passed all quality checks are released to tour players and to players like you and me.

I strongly recommend that you schedule a tour. I promise it will be an aha moment and you’ll come away with new perspectives on the greatest ball in golf. And don’t forget to stop by the Team Titleist store afterwards and pay off your credit card before you go. You’re gonna need some credit space .
