    I believe it is a 2-stroke penalty.
  3. If the Player in the bunker has intentially tried to improve the lie of his ball the R&A rules state that in stroke play the player recieves a two stroke penalty or loss of hole in Matchplay.

Go to the R&A offical website to search for  other ruleings you may have a query about (very helpful)

  4. i have heard that a visualy impaired player may ground club as long as i play the shot immediately if not a i am penelized by a stroke could someone confirm this,i have not been able to find this rule at r&a site thanks sven.

Officially there is 1 set of rules. Even though the governing bodies say these rules are written for all golf rounds, they aren't, they are written for tournament golf.

If you are visually impaired, then you need to do whatever you need to do in order to have fun playing the game.

I would guess that if there is a league for visually impaired, then they have their own rules.

    Hi Sven,

Here is the USGA Ruling for visually impaired golfers on grounding a club in a hazard:

Rule 13-4b (Grounding Club in Hazard)

The following additional Exception under Rule 13-4 is permissible:

    3. Provided nothing is done which constitutes testing the condition of the hazard or improves the lie of the ball, there is no penalty if a blind golfer grounds his club in a hazard preparatory to making a stroke. However, the player is deemed to have addressed the ball when he has taken his stance.

The R&A also observes this same ruling and you can download a PDF of their amended rulings,  A Modification of the Rules of Golf for Golfers with Disabilities, by clicking this following link:

  8. gentlemen hi think about the following and if you could give your suggestions i would like to read. player enters five rounds of golf scores each one day after the other, it is found that these are old scores and these were not played on the days entered, Players own admision to the fact.

There is no rule against the visually impaired, as long as it isn't intentional
