    I guess with the cold weather setting in, I've been thinking about the beach a lot more. We do a family trip every year to the Outer Banks and do a good bit of golfing while there. I was curious to see if any of you golf there, and if so, what are your favorite courses?

    Here are mine in no particular order:

    Nags Head Golf Links Kilmarlic Duck Woods CC The Carolina Club The Currituck Club

    We've played Sea Scape and The Pointe, but prefer the above listed.

    Are there any other courses you would recommend trying?

    My favorites are Carolina and Currituck Club. You've touched on most of the usual places around the Outer Banks. Not sure about conditions after the two Hriicanes we've experienced in NC over the papst month and a half. May want to call ahead just to make sure. Scotch Hall Preserve isn't actually on the OBX, but, close and a very nice track worth checking out. They also have accomodations there.

    Definitely enjoy the Nags Head golf links for its narrow quirky lay out. Currituck is a beast and challenging in the wind for sure. I haven't played the inland courses recently but you nailed all the ones I can think of... not much options but the OBX ones are fun for sure
