  1. Does anyone have any suggestions about courses to play in Maryland? I'm here on vacation and would love to get some golf in while I'm here.

  2. Where are you staying in Maryland? If you are on the eastern shore, specifically near Ocean City, I like Lighthouse Sound, War Admiral and Rum Pointe. If you are closer to Annapolis, I like Renditions which is approximately a 30 minute drive from Annapolis.

I am a member at Worthington Manor in Urbana (Frederick). It's one of the best courses in the state. Site of the 2019 US Open Qualifier (10th time) and also the 2019 Maryland Open. In season, it rivals nearly any public course it the country IMO and most private ones as well. Unfortunately, we are still in winter, so things have not begun to green up yet. But , that would go for just about anywhere in the area, so I wouldn't expect you'll find anything nicer right now. Others in the area I might also suggest are Whiskey Creek, Musket Ridge and Maryland National. But if you get out this way, put Worthington at the top of the list. It is the most challenging of the lot.

Doug hit most of the good ones...
You could also look at PB Dye Golf Club.
If you have a budget look at Clustered Spires in Frederick.

Depending on where you exatly are, you can cross the border into Virginia and play a number of course, such as Rasperry Falls and WestFields. I lived in Germantown for 18 years, before moviong to Charlotte and can confirm those tracks suggested by Doug. Worthington Mannor, Whiskey Creek, Musket Ridge and Maryland National are all great.
If you're north of Baltimore I would suggest Bulle Rock. It's pricey but a good track to play.
I would also add Queensdown if you're on the Eastern Shore.
  6. Bulle Rock is an amazing course. Course was beautiful. The staff was very friendly and the rates are good. My new favorite Maryland course.
  7. Bulle Rock is a must play. The rates have gone down recently. If you are in Ocean City then play Lighthouse Sound or go north about 30 minutes and play Baywood Greens in Rehoboth Delaware.
