    Glasgow,

Sorry but those are very difficult to answer. Both clubs hit different yardages so my first answer would be to go with what club hits the yards you need. If you lack confidence then play up to a comfortable wedge distance with an iron and try to get close enough for birdie with that.

As for your tee shot question, it doesn't matter what club you take on a narrow hole if you put a bad swing on it. It sound like you lack a bit in confidence (as do we all from time to time) so take whatever club gives you the most confidence and will still give you a chance to reach the green with your second and hit it. For example, on a 320 yard par 4, 2 straight shots with a 6 iron would be better than a slice/hook with your 3 wood/hybrid followed by hacking your way up to the green trying to make up lost ground.

i have the 24 degree 913h and it gives  me loads of confidence of the tee and off the fairway i  was just looking for another 20 to 30 yards extra so i could reach par 5s in 2 maybe about 230 yards i hit my 24 degree 210 yards

  4. Would really need to know what the gaps(in distance) & lofts are with your other fairway metals/hybrids, to answer this properly & can you & do you usually use a Driver, or would you be thinking of using this club you're thinking of getting off the tee often?

Can you use your current 3 metal (if you have one) okay & what is your normal shot shapes/distances with driver & longer fairways/hybrids. Really you need to consider all of these points, & sounds like a discussion with a PGA pro who teaches and club fits with a launch monitor (not really a launch monitor through one of the bigger discount places as sometimes they may well have an agenda on selling you stuff.)

Would be well worth your money for 30 mins with a PGA pro as described above before shelling out cash on a club that might not be ideal for you given the rest of the clubs in your bag, gap distance wise I mean.

Naturally both Clubs are good but fulfill slightly different jobs, & if your looking to be using it off a tee a lot then the 3 wood would be maybe more use to you than the 913 hybrid you describe which at that loft is a 1 or 2 iron replacement you could still use a hybrid off the tee but you might find it's narrower face depth more difficult if you have a steepish swing.

As an example I have a 910 D2 9.5 Driver, and the 913f, 15 deg you describe this 3 metal I can carry 235/240 before the run out, i also have a 913Hd hybrid set at 18 degs which I turn and turn about in my bag with my 2 iron depending on the course I'm playing & conditions, I'd carry (distance on the fly only not runout) this hybrid 220/225. I only carry this 913f and 913Hd as i still use long irons 3,4,5i and the 2i which i swop with the 913Hd.

Sorry this is a bit long but the Clubs you're thinking about chosing from perform different jobs really and go different distances it's not like looking at choosing between 2 different 3 metals or 2 different hybrids like the adjustable 913 H18 degree or the 913 Hd version (which you can only really get from a fitting with Titleist, unless you buy secondhand - which unless you're really are sure of your specs (swing speed, launch angle, spin rate, swing path and angle of approach) I wouldn't recommend)

Might not be the answer you want but a discussion and Truefit with PGA pro who is a titleist specialist is really the way to get the right club for you ideally. :)
