    Played an event at Sand Martins, my home club this morning and Titleist had set up by the side of the 16th tee.

    Tom Hiscock proceeded to briefly talk through the different balls in the range, what the players were currently using and then proceeded to give away a couple of sleeves of balls to everyone.

    Have to say that Tom is a credit to Titleist, was really professional and clearly knew his stuff, and was very friendly, he also, amazingly remembered most people's names, their were 84 of us!!!

    My playing partner of the day is a die hard srxn user, and tried the Tour Speed. Promptly stood on the tee and hit it further than he ever has done before.

    So believe the science guys and girls, there's clearly a reason they're the No.1 ball in golf!!

    The Titleist Tent pitched up at my club last Tuesday (in support of my club pro) and as you say dished out expertise and sample balls in equal measure.
    The message that it's beneficial to your game to use the correct ball and to use it all the time came across strongly and seemed to gain traction with members.
    A few new ProV1x came my way, for which I'm very grateful. Still have two or three of boxes of the old model on hand, so plenty to compare them against.
    Haven't had any other brands doing this.... but then, our Pro is also a Titleist man!

    PS Some concern that there were only BLUE Velocity balls on hand - Red (Liverpool) or Blue (Everton) is a touchy subject in these parts. Much safer with white (though that could be construed as Tranmere)

    I do find a ball fitting is well worth doing if you have the time
