I have just had the privilege of being on a carry board for the Women’s Ooen at Walton Heath. The pros are just amazing - in all the rounds barely a mush it and it took to the 15th in the final round for one pro in my group to find trouble and take a penalty.

Some of the pros kindly gave us a signed ball at the end of each round - I received a few Callys but one of my friends received a Titleist Pro V1x +. It now makes sense that the + must mean the pros are getting hook, slice, top, fat, thin, shank proof balls !

I did get a Titleist ball from Gaby Lopez on the Sunday - she draws some black lines but I can’t make out if the ball has any designation at as to what it is. All I can see is the dimple pattern differs from the current pro v1x.

Anyone know what the + actually represents?
