    1. Swap out my 910H 19deg for a 716 T-MB 2
    2. Shorten my swing to nearly 3/4, also moving the ball back in my stance to lower the ball flight
    3. Swing easy when it's breezy - don't allow the wind to force a harder swing
    4. Focus on attacking pins from the right angle and running ball up to green as opposed to darting at the pin
    5. Make sure to wear my DryJoys XP rain suit to ensure maximum comfort, dryness and ability to swing freely (style points as well, obviously)
    6. Do my best to STAY OUT OF BUNKERS

    I normally have my driver set up for a high launch for maximum carry, so I would alter this to keep the ball low. I may also swap a my hybrid, which has a high ball flight, for a 2 iron.

    Leave the driver in the bag, sacrifice distance for accuracy. Really work on wedge play to get close to pin and practise bump and runs around the green. Then putt putt putt til sun goes down... Fairways and putts will win the open.

    I would keep the driver in the bag unless absolutely necessary and focus on the long irons and fairways to try and keep my PV1 on a lower trajectory into a head or crosswind. Carrying an 816H2 in the my bag would also be a great addition as it will also help with keeping the ball down for longish bump and run shots into the green or to avoid those sinister fairway bunkers!
    And, certainly not to forget a solid set of FootJoy foul weather gear to keep the nastiness that Royal Troon will throw at me at any time during the round.

    I would make the adjustment to more irons with the hope of keeping the trajectory much lower to avoid windy conditions. I would also try to roll the ball up to the pins, since the ground is so hard. I also think that hitting some knock down shots would be helpful.

    Focus on distance control in the windy conditions and trying not to do too much. Miss in the right spots and try not to compound the misses.

    First I would make sure that I had a rain/wind suit and toque in my bag, then I would tee the ball low to drive rockets down the fairway and let it my PRO V1 ROLL!!

    Yes I would probably rework a number of my irons for links play. Cavity back do not work very well in hard packed ground for me so that would mean a big change. I would also have to look at my bump and run game to keep the ball in play and keep it close.

    I diny knooo hoo I wud alter me game but ya can bet yer boots I would be using me Titleist proV1X!!! Aiy!!!! Totally excited for the Open Championship getting on da way !!

    I think the best strategy would be ball position off the tee. Select the club that is impossible to get in the fairway bunkers. Also I think I would use heavier weights in my Scotty Cameron putter to get close with them 100 foot putts.

    I would remove my 60 deg wedge add a 2 iron, would try to stay smooth, hit lots of 3/4 shots. Also switch from Prov1 to a Prov1X. Go Titleist......

    Not gamble on trying to attain a lot of distance, stay more reserved, keep the ball back to enable low trajectory with the anticipated wind. I would use my hybrids more as I can control them better. Stay away from the horrible bunkers at all costs.

    Bring out the 2 and 3 irons keeping low trajectory to avoid windy gust movements. I'd probably also double glove (R and L hands) if any rain picks up. Probably toe my club face in off the tee for those left to right heavy gusts.

    I would not change any of the clubs in my bag. I would however adjust my shots to be a lower trajectory to account for the wind. I would be prepared for rain. If the greens are firm I would be prepared for the ball to roll a lot quicker, however I'd adjust my putting stroke to be a bit firmer if the rain moves in for the softer greens. Titleist Pro V1X ball all the way to the finish!

    I would not changes any clubs in my bag. I would adjust my swing for a lower ball flight due to wind. I would be prepared for rain and softer greens. With that being said firmer greens light touch, softer green firmer touch. Pro V1X all the way to the finish!

    keep the ball low and slow my swing to keep the ball on the fairways.
    putting a couple of hybrid irons into my bag will also help keep the ball low and get some distance.

    At first I would make sure to enjoy every moment on such a historical continent where golf took his place in sport. I think it will help getting over all the difficulties this course could make me go through!!

    On a technical point of view I would consider holding back my driver and or adjust the loft of it to 9-9.5 in order to keep the ball lower. Bump and run chipshot / 52° Low pitch would be my key to success. I would leave my hybrids out and bring back my 4i. I thought about removing my 60° to add my 3i but since I've seen those deep bunkers (Rory practice round at the postamp par 3) I think it could be useful to keep it in my bag. 1 club longer + 80-85% swing to take some spin out would help keeping the ball low and under the wind. I play the PV1x but I think I'd go with the PV1 for is penetrating trajectory. Oh not to mention...I would go get a full set of new SM6 wedges to give myself a chance to score on those slippery greens!!

    At the end, I would use all the skills I have into this challenge because no matter the score this must be amazing to live at such a level!
