Too many bad ones to remember just 1! I do remember hitting a couple close enough to birdie! Titleist treats their customers great!

I recently play Gallagher's Canyon the week before the Canadian Tour event and the rough was tough. Drove over my ball many times looking for it and I wasn't far off the fairway. It beat me up!

I wear an xl and play the new pro VX if you decide I need to be cheered up!

Last night at men's night, I duffed my tee shot into some fescue, knocked it out and over the water with my Vokey 58 deg and back into more fescue. I lost my Pro V1x. Large shirt and Pro V1x.
    Thanks

With the weather getting warmer the fescue had really started to grow high at our course. Lost two Pro V1x's in knee high fescue two weeks ago, thankfully just like Erin Hills they decided to trim it down to a playable level. Didn't lose any balls last weekend.

Pro V1x and size Large. Hope I win!

I seem to have as much trouble posting a comment here as i do in escaping a bunker. Shirt size L, V1 ball.
  7. Just got a 46F SM6 volkey wedge and just love it, 125 in and playing out of the fescue: XL and X
  8. I hate fescue I try to avoid it if not I take my medicine and play another prov1 and add it up at the end of the round. shirt size L prefer the v

Eagles nest. used my 56 and flopped it out and took my punishment.
    Large shirt and prov1x

enjoy the open and happy fathers day!

  11. Our club has lots of fescue but thank goodness I haven't been in it for a long time. Most times I don't hit far enough to get into much trouble. I watch the long hitters land in the fescue and feel bad for them. Just watch...now that I've said I haven't been in it recently, next game I'll be knee deep. :)

    Prov1 and size medium
  12. At Braeben Golf Course in Mississauga, in the deeeeep stuff (see pic). Hacked a ball out of the fescue, dislocated my thumb... but made a par on the hole. Was totally worth it. However, placed myself on the injured list for two weeks.

I'm #TeamTitleist lifer (see Instagram account: grantyim). Would love a shirt in M and some Prov1x.

    Thank you!

  13. Here in Alberta we have lots of natural fescue grass. It's a pain to find anything in there nevermind your own ball! I wear a large and play the V

I have been playing Titleist clubs and Vokey Wedges for a long time. My 60 degree lob wedge became a weapon on one of my annual golf trips where we were playing in St. George Utah. Balls would trickle into cactus, desert shrubs and fescue. Playing the ball like a bunker shot out of desert rough with my lob wedge pitched my ball onto the green almost every time, I saved so many shots.

Forgot to add my size is Medium and I play the Pro V1X.
  16. With the Sun in my eyes during a late evening round I ended up in the thick fescue with 180 to go. I grabbed my 7 and hit what felt like a pure strike. Blinded by the sun i walked to the green assuming I was on. My ball was nowhere to be found haha.
    Size lg
Prefer the softer feel of the v but love the x as well.

    Cheers

    Lethbridge,

Lately I have been getting some extra practice in our fescue. One thing I have learned is Vokey 54 degree wedge to the fairway and take my medicine.

Love all of the Titleist swag. Size XXL and Pro V1X would be just perfect.
  18. With my handicap I tend to play from the edges more than I'd like to admit. Recently I played a round at Sprinbank Links on the outskirts of Calgary, AB and had an interesting shot from the fescue on the 12th hole.

Managed to save par after hitting my sand wedge out of the tall grass to within 15 feet from 100 yards. Wish I had seen the same results later in the round.

I wear an XL and currently love playing with the V1X balls.
  19. 1st time playing with 3 much better players - ball on greenside mound in 14 inch high fescue - afraid to risk new graphite shafts - pulled $5 sand wedge with heavy superwide flange just bought out of a barrel - club cut right thru fescue and ball came out so sweet everyone was astonished - especially me! - not afraid of fescue any more!!

    shirt xl ball prov1 x
  20. Impossible to get out so took a drop!

    Size Large ProV1

My most recent run in was with the thick rough at Northview Golf & Country Club. The rough grows very thick on the course and while it is not fescue and is maintained at a shorter length of about 4-5 inches, it is entirely possible to lose a ball in it!

Needless to say, I tried to advance the ball from the rough on a slight diagonal line -- I only managed to advance it about 35 yards! I turned my Par 4 into a Par 5!

Size XL please and I play Pro V1X!

Good luck everyone and I hope to see more of you posting here in the future!
