  1. I think I will try a dozen. If it helps me see the ball better in flight. That's a big plus. Now They should make a pink one for the ladies. Only fair.

     Hey, Team Titleist!

For all those golfers who have been asking for a high visibility color option in the best-performing golf balls in the game… the wait is nearly over! On March 15, for the first time ever, when you visit your local golf shop you’ll find a new color option for the  2019 Pro V1 and Pro V1x - high optic yellow.

If you’ve watched any Tour events this season, you’ve probably already seen players teeing up the new yellow models, including Bubba Watson, Kyle Jones, Rory Sabbatini (2019 Pro V1x Yellow) and Davis Love III (2019 Pro V1 Yellow) on the PGA Tour, as well as Mark Calcavecchia (2019 Pro V1x Yellow) on the Champions Tour.

In fact, Bubba Watson currently leads the PGA Tour in driving distance with the new high optic yellow Pro V1x, averaging 318.5 yards off the tee.

Titleist tour representatives have reported from the road that players who have made the switch to Yellow are loving the new ball, praising how easy it is to track in flight. They've also commented on how reliable the yellow offerings are, providing the same performance characteristics they've come to expect from the white versions of 2019 Pro V1 and Pro V1x.

One player also noted that he felt the brighter finish on his Pro V1x Yellow is helping him to focus a little better during the course of a round.

Have you considered this potential advantage in playing a high optic golf ball? I never have, to be honest, but I will now. If a brighter finish can help me to concentrate better, I’m sold. I know it will have a positive effect on my game.

How about you? Are you going to put the 2019 Pro V1 or Pro V1x Yellow to the test? If you do, please comment below and share your experiences. Let us know why the Pro V1 or Pro V1x Yellow is the right golf ball for you.

    Thanks!

I would like to play them

Need to offer these high optic golf balls in custom numbering.
  5. Yes I will be, it takes a little bit of time to get used to it. One thing I have seen since I switched to colored balls is when you’re playing on a packed course or with a foursome, there is noone mistaking your ball for theirs. In fact, my wife started using colored balls because my father often “mistook” her ball for his when she had a more favorable lie. She was too polite to correct him, so she went to hot pink. He doesn’t know!
  6. I have been playing the optic yellow AVX for a while now and will be purchasing a dozen Optic yellow Pro V 1x's as soon as they are available. For me the bright yellow color is easier to follow than a white ball.

My plan for this season is to give the ProV1 Yellow and the AVX Yellow a try. The idea the yellow color may provide the opportunity to "focus a little better" makes sense.

Thanks Titleist for listening and providing another option to improve our game.
  8. I intend to buy a box of Yellow V1s when they come out!

"Bubba Watson currently leads the PGA Tour in driving distance with the new high optic yellow Pro V1x, averaging 318.5 yards off the tee."

I am sure you will agree that Bubba's distance has improved significantly owing entirely to the yellow color! Probably the yellow color's affinity to the sun draws the ball higher and longer . . . I wonder what his distance was using white balls . . .

"They've also commented on how reliable the yellow offerings are, providing the same performance characteristics they've come to expect from the white versions of 2019 Pro V1 and Pro V1x."

if that's true, the color makes no improvement whatsoever so why are we reading this?

"One player also noted that he felt the brighter finish on his Pro V1x Yellow is helping him to focus a little better during the course of a round."

Excepting easier tracking of the ball in flight, only one of the five mentioned players commented on the benefits of the color.

What nonsense these PR people come up with!

In certain conditions I've played the yellow Tour soft and will play the prov version even more. May become my main ball I'm older and that yellow ball makes it easier for me to track.
  13. How about a special promo to buy the new Yellow Pro V1??
  14. I have been using high optic Titlest balls for last three years and find I can see them much better than the white. Thank for putting them in the Pro V’s.

I plan to a buy a dozen as soon as they come out. I have a 4 round golf tournament with friends at the end of March, maybe it will be the difference maker this year.

I’ve been waiting for this day for years. Have played the high-optic yellow AVX since
It’s launch (and the Tour Soft before that), and while both are great options, they are not Pro V’s. Yellow is easier to follow in the air and easier find if I’m off the fairway. Consequently, I feel I make better swings through the ball. Thank you Titleist for finally making this happen!
  18. I have been playing yellow golf balls for years. As I’ve gotten older my vision has changed and the yellow ball is easier to focus on and easier to find, especially in the fall when Bermuda grass is dormant and brown. I can’t wait to play the best ball on the market in yellow. Thank you Titleist.
  19. The ole' (old) eyes need some help on the course. I think seeing the ball better with the yellow will improve sight, sense, and score. Let's hope.

Plus, it brings me back to my teen years when I played a yellow ball. Good times.

    Enjoy!
