Been a titleist member for a while but first post

So I went for a fitting at a titleist Thursday event last week, never really been fitted properly for irons so was fairly excited!

Currently playing off of 11 using the 714 AP2 but now my 2 daughters are a bit older (5&2) I have had the go ahead from the wife to upgrade

So it started off with me warming up on the toptracer range which is quite the pretty penny but worth it, if you get chance should definitely try them

Then I met Phil Thomson who made me feel ease and he was a very nice bloke, then I started hitting my 7 iron with him asking me bad shots and my misses handicap etc

What I was most surprised at was the T100 when I did the strike test again never done one before but I was flushing these from out the middle, I even impressed myself with the consistency - phil even said that I should be low handicap with that strike pattern so I said he hasn’t seen me chip!!!!!

Tried all three T series but best results from the T100 also tried a number of different shafts but as the fitter said I was most consistent with what I have in my ap2’s which is the Dynamic Gold S300 - if it’s not broke don’t try and fix it was the words.

So I was fitted for T100 std length loft and lie - said I could go a degree stronger but keep it std to start with as stops the bad shot

Really happy I got the T100 as I didn’t tell him at the start but I got what I secretly wanted!!

Now all I have to do is get some overtime in and these will be mine hopefully in time for my October birthday fingers crossed and for off season practice

But why I waited this long to be fitted who knows!!
