After spending a small fortune on a new TSR driver and 3 wood I was told an adjustment tool didn't automatically come with the clubs, what a joke. For Titleist to release a club with a feature that the consumer can't utilise demonstrates their arrogance. After complaining to my local Pro he was told by the Titleist rep he would find a tool, it's been 3 months and so far no tool has been forthcoming. After buying Titleist the past 4 sets of clubs they have lost me as a customer. Let this be a warning to anyone foolish enough to buy Titleist

I agree they should include the tool as an option only if you don't already have one. If you already have one, you can decline the offer. Which brings up the question - if the past 4 sets you had were all Titleist, what did you do with the adjustment tool from them?

I sold the adjustment tools with the old woods as I wanted the new owner to have the ability to utilise the clubs features. Foolishly I thought Titleist would have thought the same!

Is this the first driver/fairway you've bought in the last 15+ years? They're all the same (even across brands) so what you may have should already work. If not, they're like $10.

As others have stated the tool is the same as all previous generations of clubs offered with the surefit adaptor. When you order a driver/fairway wood/hybrid you can request a tool be included as they do not automatically come with one. I’m surprised your golf shop doesn’t have a few laying around that they could give you. Have you tried calling Titleist Customer Service? They will be more than willing to send you one. This might be the best approach for your given situation and duration of waiting for your golf shop to procure one for you.

Most retail golf shops such as World Wide Golf Shops has an over-abundance of these tools. I'm sure one of these types shops would be willing to sell at a small price or give you a tool.

I went to golftown (Canada) and asked to buy one from them, they just gave it to me. If you live in Southern Ontario Canada I'll be happy to give you one of mine.

Never had the issue you are having. When I purchased my first driver (910) they provided one back then and I and have held onto it. I purchase my other drivers and fairways thru a local pro shop/retailer/fitter and he always has the adjustment tools in his shop. I always ask for one. The tools are interchangeable among just about every manufacturer out there and are not provided with new clubs. Main reason just about everyone has one. And all the extras provided end up on eBay. Which does not sit well with many of us diehards on here as well as the manufacturers. I can see and support their decision. I recommend asking you pro, if that is where you purchased the driver to give Titleist customer service a call and see if they will mail you one. We are a group of Titleist loyalists and totally support Titleist. Did you not get an adjustment with you Titleist driver in the past?
  9. You should have gotten one with the driver, they come packaged with the headcover from Titleist. They do not come with fairways or hybrids, not sure who you bought the clubs from but the driver should have had one.

They do not charge extra for them. Most of us already have 2 or 3 so they just quit sending them out unless requested. I would not call that arrogance. Anyone ordering a new club for the first time just needs to ask for one to be provided at the time they order. The better pro shops should be making this clear when you order your clubs. Your pro should ask the local rep to have one express mailed, not just look for one. I would say the breakdown is with those two guys. Lean on them a bit more.

They always give an adjustment tool with the Driver, but no longer with the Fairway woods. Did you speak with Titleist directly? I'm sure they would address the situation.

For me TSI2 fairways - I got one with each as well.
  13. I bought a TSR2 Driver at PGA Tour Superstore in-person, and did not get an adjustment tool. Forgot to ask, but when I went back, they just gave me one (I guess it was the least they and Titleist could do after spending $600+ on a driver).

I later ordered a TSR Fairway 15 degree online from PGA Tour Superstore, and no adjustment tool in the box.

I understand some other comments about everyone having them, etc. (basically the same argument Apple and others make to not include chargers anymore with their phones). But if I sell or give away my drivers, fairways, etc. with the tool, then I would need one with any new driver/fairways I buy from Titleist (or any manufacturer for that matter).

Hi All, thanks for your feedback. I agree that I should have received a tool, however this didn’t happen. Yes, I have purchased numerous drivers, fairway woods and hybrids over the past 20 years and yes I have had numerous adjustment tools. When I sold these old clubs however, I sold the tool with the club as I believe I had an obligation to enable the new owner to optimise all of the clubs features - and I made the naive assumption that I would receive a new tool with the new club.

Your dealer can get one N/C for you. When they place an order, they only have to check a box.

Really??? Where did you purchase it at? I got one with both my TSr3 Driver and TSr2 3W.

That is an interesting statement and to stop being a customer because of a tool, is a pretty strong statement. For Titleist and any other OEMs to not include an adjustment tool with each purchase can we a way to cut costs as well.

As others stated and you mentioned as well, you've received an adjustment tool with previous purchases. They are all the same tool (except srxn), so borrow a buddies, ask the pro shop, etc. whenever you need to make an adjustment. To be honest, most consumers do not make any adjustments to their clubs after they purchase them. They might tweak them here and there, but it doesn't change much. That's why it's important to get fitted and then the fitter will set the adjustments for you and you play it as is. Even professional golfers don't tinker that much.

When reselling the clubs, it's nice to have the adjustment tool, but it doesn't lower the value of the club (if it doesn't come with the adjustment tool).

Titleist doesn't owe their customers anything. All we can expect from Titleist is that they continue to make a great product that performs. Anything extra, like adjustment tools and TT swag, that's just going above and beyond.
  18. I got one with my TSR2 driver, no issues and didn't have to ask for it. I'd certainly be pretty unhappy if it didn't come with one.

I got an adjustment tool with the TSR Driver. Special ordered 2 TSR2 Fairway Woods that came with one adjustment tool. Another tool came with a special order for my TSR2+.

If you didn’t get one, you can use the adjustment tool from TM, cally and Cobra. All these tools have the same hex tip and torque to 45 lbs. Don’t use the older, yellow TM ones because they only torque to 35 lbs.
  20. I just got fitted for new TSR driver and got one in the shipment.

When did Apple stop shipping charging blocks and ear buds with new $1,200 iPhones? iPhone 12 I believe.

It's just assumed that you have one. I remember getting one with each of my Hybrids from Titleist. Yep, I've shipped a tool with a lot of the drivers I've sold, but I think I still have 5 or 6 laying around the house.

It's just business. I'm sure they have many customers like you, but they made the decision for the same reason Apple did. Shipping one more thing to take up room in a drawer somewhere in your house or garage. My guess is the piece cost for one of these tools is only a few dollars, but it's just business.

I got one, when I ordered my TSi2, but bought an Epic second hand ac few years back, that I didn't get one for, so I just grabbed the correct size Torx bit from my toolbox and adjusted it.

Like many have said I have several. But the tool is not a special size, it is a "T-25 Torx bit" you can get those bits for 2-3 bucks if you have a nut driver. TM / cally etc all use the same size.

Try calling Customer Service. When I purchased the TSI driver and 3 wood I also received no tool. I called Customer Service and the rep ordered one for me and I received it. Nice it a try...
