For the life of me I can't hit the 3wood off the fairway, I can hit solid shots off the tee.

Tried for years to find a 3W that I could trust. 913F, 915F didn't work for me. Went back to my old 2008 vintage 906F2 with the green NV shaft...hitting the snot out of it again. Something about the way it sets up makes it look like a deeper face even though the difference in reality is negligible when checked with an engineering caliper. Just goes to show...all in my head, just like the rest of the game

I always had a hard time hitting a 3 wood also for years. I finally slowed down my tempo and trying not to kill the ball with it and have pretty good success now!!

The "driver" I use off the deck is only 37" long, had it cut down, 10.5 loft, I don't get a lot of height but boy will it fly.

So I was out this weekend and a friend noticed he the gap in my bag and suggested I try his TM 3 wood RBZ. All I can say is I left with it, I have never been able to hit with a 3 wood before.

When the 915's came out I purchased one. I hit some good shots but I also hit more bad shots. Two days ago I purchased a 915 F 18 degree ( 5 wood ). WOW! What a difference. I set it up to hit a "butter cut" fade and it performs SUPER.

I would suggest that try the 3 wood on the range, pay attention to the way you're gripping the club. Make sure that at address you are seeing two knuckles on the left hand, strengthen the right hand a little bit, move the club away slowly for the first 1.5 feet. This should make you fall in love with the 3 wood. You should be able to get 225 off the deck and a mile off the tee. Let me know if this works for you..
