We know the 2018 TT invitational is at Kiawah this year, an amazing venue no doubt and very jealous of all the people that are attending. Can't wait to see pics and hear all about it.. So, thinking about next year and hopefully i'll be able to attend if i'm lucky enough where would everyone like to see it?

I'm thinking the Midwest or West Coast needs some love.. So many great venues out that way.. Or maybe go international? My passport could use a few more stamps...

I'd like to see Torrey. North course the first day followed by South course the second day. Maybe Monterrey CA, Bayonet and Black Horse. Kohler WI would be good too, Whistling Straits and Blackwolf Run. Maybe Sand Valley. Lots of options...
  3. I’m all for west coast, pebble has so many great courses

+1 for Torrey Pines. Combine it with a visit to my old AJGA friend Peter Ripa!
  5. I agree... Torrey would be awesome. Played there a couple of times, very awe inspiring. Will be playing So.Cal again soon, i love Coronado”s course too!

+1 for Torrey Pines. Perfect timing too as I could cycle through TPI for an iron fitting!

How about PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, FL. 3 beautiful courses The Ryder, The Wanamaker and The Dye. The facility is driver and a 9-iron from I-95, 2 hotels on the property and 4 more 5 minutes away. Facility is very accommodating as they run many events and do a great job. And they are a big time Titleist facility. How do I know all of this? Easy, I've been a member here for over 2 years.

I would vote Pebble or Bandon. Cabot Cliffs looks unreal as well.

Hard to imagine they would give us enough spots at Pebble but wow, to do Pebble and Spyglass would be a great combo. Probably would break the bank too. I love Bandon, play it every winter during the cheap season. Problem with it would be transportation for 80 people. 2 Hours from Eugene with limited flights and 5 hours from Portland. It would also be tough to do the TTI there without playing all four courses but BD and Pacific would be the top two. Maybe an optional layover for Trails and OldMac.

Big Cedar Lodge in Branson, MO. (actually Ridgedale, MO) or any of the courses in Kohler WI., can you tell I think the next one should be in the Midwest.

Cape Arundel in Kennebunkport, Maine, followed by the Portland Country Club in Falmouth. Both from the 1890's, both spectacular (although the Portland Country Club is private, so I may secretly be looking for a way in).
The Omni Mount Washington in Breton Woods, New Hampshire, would be an absolutely stellar choice, as well. The hotel is phenomenal (think "The Shining"), too.
  17. Good call Fellow Ralpher!!!, Just told Speedy the same thing on how nice it would be for it to come to the north east. Besides Wentworth by the sea, or Portsmouth CC; what about the Woodlands in Falmouth? I worked a swoosh Tour Event there many years ago.

If you plan it, they will come...

  20. Hey Speedy. How nice would it be if it came to the North East? Maybe TPC Boston, or what about seeing it at Wentworth by the Sea or Portsmouth CC?

As long as they are not walking courses. During my second series of tests last week, told my Dr my goal is to be able to walk eighteen holes again and he said at your age, be glad you can play golf. Pulmonary issues.

Hotsauce, Cabot Cliffs is an awesome course. Longest course I ever walked. Played it in the fall before it officially opened in the spring.

Bandon would be my choice as well. Funny though, I have been living in Oregon for 3 years and have yet to play it. I am trying for February, March next year.

I would suggest late November to early December. Pictures here from February. Presidents Day week.

Would depend on the time of the year for Palm Springs. Awesome courses and great accommadations. We played there one year during one of our conferences. Believe it was in July. PGA West. A bit warm, but no humidity. =)
  29. Midwest would be great!

Still think Memphis would be a great city to visit. TPC Southwind and Windyke Country Club which is close by. The WGC is departing Ohio and moving to Memphis in 2019 and will be played at the TPC Southwind. Good golf, great BBQ and in the center of America. Should be easy to get to and would be a fun venue. Most could drive.

I would love to see it on the West Coast especially the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. Of course, a road trip to San diego is always a good thing as well especially when it includes a stop in Encinitas.

I only wish I had got an invite this year so am looking forward to 2019
  33. Bandon
TPC Scottsdale (Phoenix Open), Troon North, TPC or Greyhawk in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Also, any course that is hosting a major PGA Championship in advance of that championship.

Regardless, Titleist ALWAYS does an amazing job at this event so it does not matter as much where it is held vs. that Titleist is running the show!

  34. Scottsdale would be amazing in october next year!

I completely agree, Chris! Scottsdale is truly amazing but it all depends on the over seeding schedule. It has to be before seeding or sometime in January, when the seeds really sprout and take root.

Agreed. October is tough because of overseeding. Selection is definitely limited. However, it is possible especially if you target courses with 36 holes. Grayhawk, WeKoPa, and Talking Stick are all good options.
