Yes, fitted. There is a shop(actually they have 2 locations in central Fl.) named "golf central". Never do they charge for a fitting, awesome people and dead on with their numbers.

I think once you've played custom fitted clubs, it becomes part of the next purchase- why would anyone go backwards.

For those who went on the serious side and took lessons, after working on your game, you'll have to pair what you've created or built with clubs that are correct- something that can perform the best with your skill.
  5. I was fitted but turned out the stock AP1s, D17, H1, F2 were perfect for me with a stiff shaft.
  6. I had the opportunity to get fit for the first time. I would recommend it . It has improved my game and confidence level considerably. It takes about an hour and you need to have an open mind about the feedback you get. Everything from swing speeds(type of flex for your shafts) length, loft and lie...it’s like getting fit for a nice suit. It’s well worth the time and money you invest in the game. Good luck!
  7. Didn’t realize how much difference it was until I did you will be amazed

After numerous tries at trying to find out shaft/head combos that work, pulled trigger for one of uk’s top independent custom fitters. Was truly surprised as appeared shaft weight had biggest effect, then flex point and then flex. Made a massive difference on dispersion and strike and would highly recommend!

Custom fitted 100%. Im 6ft 5ins and needed longer shafts and had the lie adjusted. I also chose Graphite Stiff shafts and Jumbo grips. Made a huge difference getting the right fitting : ) Its also a great day out and great fun.
    Get Custom Fitted for sure!!

I have had my last two iron sets fitted. Within 20 rounds of my first fitting my handicap went from 14 to 10. I think mostly due to proper fitting irons, 2 degeees upright with an additional inch in length. I am 6’4”” and this made a huge difference for me.
  11. I would seriously have anyone considering Titleist clubs that you have them custom fit! However, having said that I would encourage you to consider "who" is the doing the fitting. Just like doctors, there are good ones and mediocre ones...investigate the fitters ahead of time.

If you want to be absolutely sure you have the correct fitter, then consider Titleist's Oceanside TPI or Manchester Lane Professional fitting facilities...it is definitely worth the trip!

    Cheers... Chris

    Lethbridge,

My entire bag has been custom fitted. Will not buy a club unless I am fitted for the clubs.
  13. My fitting saved me 3 shots within weeks... you decide
  14. I wanted to get my irons fitted and get a new custom fit 917.

If someone, those that had your club fitted, can advise me..
I believe there are indoor (using flight simulator) and outdoor (on a driving range, maybe) fitting.
    Which is more advisable?

Personally, I prefer to see the ball trajectory.

This game is hard enough as it is without, not taking every advantage you can get, custom fit is essential, and funny thing is that percentage wise Australia has the largest number of custom fit Titleist players in the world, correct that your swing changes over time, by you getting better or Worse? Then you get refit either way.

My entire bag is custom fit and I would get it tweaked at least twice a year, if for nothing else the check the lofts and lies, and shaft specs haven't changed,

    It can only help,

Love reading about this. Being in rural Iowa it is hard to get fitted. I did get fitted for my irons and wedges. 1 of the clubs had a rep come through a few years ago. Not Titleist though. My local pro did the putter. But my hybrids, 3 wood and driver are trial and error. Still hitting the 915 D3. Thinking of going to a 917

The reps come to our club once a year, and I check out the new clubs just for curiosity. This year (also three years ago) I opted for the full fiting, mostly for stiffer shafts on my irons and a lighter shaft for the driver. Gave the specs to my club pro, and he ordered them. Nice to have custom fitted sticks and get them at slightly less than off the shelf prices from my club.

All my clubs were custom fitted at Titleist Kings Acres,
It’s the best thing anybody can do to help improve there game if you ask me.
I love going there spending time, testing new clubs and seeing the results.
I get my local pro to book me in for a check up every 6 months too,
That way I know I’m always getting the best out my Titleist clubs!!

Fitted, 2* flat and absolutely worth it! It will run about $60 and is the best $60 you will ever spend that will directly lower your score!
