That is too cold for golf even if the courses were open. I played Thursday in Georgia .it was 28 degrees with a 15 mile per hour wind. That is not cold for Michigan i know.
  3. It was cold this morning!! To think on Wednesday it's going to be 41 and rain, the joys of MI weather. I just hope it doesn't snow next week during my fitting.

Same out in CT...car wouldn't start it was so cold! Chipped some balls in our frozen back yard with my daughter for a few mins today just to feel alive!

Ya, we're at that time of year again, going back and forth about who's colder and wishing the sun didn't only some out without the wind blowing out of Siberia! Minus 29*F at the cottage near the WI - UP border this morning, but only -12 here at home. My clubs are in our hitting station at the club. The pro takes down racks in the bag room and sets up a range hitting into a net. He's got a cheap simulator in there, which isn't very realistic, but it's better than nothing. It sure helps being able to hit balls once in a while before the course opens in spring.

Hey Elson C, not much better here at the Jersey Shore. After rain all day Saturday, the north west wind brought the cold. 6 degrees this morning, and the real feel was minus 14. Pretty cold for here. C'mon spring!!
    Play Well,

@ElBandido, on the US we use Fahrenheit
    So yesterday on Celcius
    Actual temperature - 21C
    Real feel - 31C
I hope Scotland does not get that cold on a regular basis.

Really depends on the wind because that can make bearable conditions ridiculous.

-2 actual temperature, -12 wind chill on my back deck this morning with a persistent wind out of the North. Snow on the ground over a solid sheet of ice. Couldn't get my upstairs storm door open from the ice buildup. Have to admit that for a change golf didn't even enter my mind.

I lived in Florida back on the mid 2000s, the summers were brutal, but the winter was very pleasant.

It was 64 when I played on Sunday in Colorado. To bad it was 28 today!
  24. Almost as bad here. Last two Saturdays have been heavy snow, and now we're sitting at 18 degrees. To make it even worse the Saturday prior to these two I went to the range with a buddy of mine who noticed something in my setup. After a suggested change I started striping my AP1 irons during that session. Now I'm itching really badly to keep swinging and can't. I need an emergency vacation somewhere warm stat!

Side note: It really pays to play golf, go to the range with someone you regularly play with. I could feel, but not see what I was doing wrong. He noticed it right away and it changed everything. Best trip to the range in a long time! Cheers!

Jealous of the Florida and California guys. Feeling better than the VT guy where snow is king. But feeling sorry for the NC. You're 800 miles South of us New Englanders and not doing any better. Grin and Bare
  30. It snowed here yesterday... but it's gone today.
Course Closed yesterday, Course Open today with all greens in play.
That's why we british always talk about the weather... It changes like, well, like the weather
