Hi everyone - I hope you've had a great week. We spent the last few days in Orlando at the 2019 PGA Merchandise Show, checking out the latest from Titleist (including the ALL NEW Pro V1 and Pro V1x!).

We were incredibly fortunate to have two fantastic partners with us - Shane Bacon and Mark Crossfield - to help us create content throughout the week.

Tuesday, Shane and I hung out at Demo Day at Orange County National to hit a few shots and chat with Titleist experts about #TSProject success, the importance of fitting and Vokey Design Wedges. You'll also catch Shane's entertaining commentary and a message for his Dad to get fit! Enjoy the video below.

Over the next two days, Mark Crossfield took over our Instagram Stories and spoke with everyone from our golf ball team to Aaron Dill and Scotty Cameron. In between his busy schedule with us, he gave our followers a tour of the Titleist booth, where he took a closer look at AP Black irons, new Scotty Cameron putters and even had fun with our digital photobooth.

We hope you enjoyed our coverage from the PGA Show and a huge thanks to Shane and Mark for their awesome contributions throughout the week!

    Best,

Between helping Titleist and exploring the Show, Shane also sat down with Titleist PGA Professional Butch Harmon during one of our Titleist PGA Seminars for a very fun conversation discussing his career working with some of the best professional golfers in the world, Butch's process of working with young players, tips to amateur players and what it was like growing up with a Master's Champion as a father.

This is such a good listen, check it out: itunes.apple.com/.../id1094911742

  3. Abby- The ITunes Butch Harmon interview was great as were the videos. The show and news from you has me longing for spring here in NH. The Titleist site has pictures of the new ProV in yellow, but the ordering on line looks like white is the only option if I want to customize some with the TT logo. I still have a few weeks before spring here to get them ordered, they were probably available at the show. Keep the info coming our way and building excitement for the year ahead.

I felt Shane did a good job with his information from the show. However when Mark Crossfield had an open question segment on the instagram I felt he was misleading with the answer to one of the viewers questions. A 7 handicap asked if he was good enough to play the Ap2’s which he answered yes. He then followed it by saying really anyone can play Ap2’s if they want. Higher handicaps would benefit much more from looking into Ap1’s and Ap3’s. After all that’s what there designed for. In the future I think he should stick to his own instagram account.

What if that 7 HDCP hits all of their irons out of the center of the face and the issue with their game is keeping a driver on the course? They could be great iron players and be very successful with a players iron. I don't think Mark was trying to get everyone to play AP2s, but just because you're a high handicap player doesn't mean you should necessarily be limited to some oversized, low loft, low spin iron. Always good to get fit and see what works for your game.

As a high school coach and a golf nerd, I would someday love to spend a day or two at that show. I am extremely jealous of anyone that makes it there...looks amazing!

  21. Thanks for this... Very interesting stuff for us golf nuts.
The only stuff that I came across was the lady professional Iona Stevens coverage for HowDidI Do.
It demonstrated very clearly that the Show was indeed Vast but she was light on Titleist specific input.
Do we have any further footage?

PS If Sean Bacon invested in 3 wedges, each one a different colour, then he would at least know that he had selected the intended club - how many times we muddle the 6 & 9 irons and the wedges must b beyond counting. Plus he would have overcome his serious case of Wedge Envy!
  22. Great show the new black irons look great can’t wait for them to come out.
  23. Thanks Abby...Really enjoyed checking on line all the new Titleist gear each day at the PGA Merchandise Show... GREAT job Titleist staff!!

Thank you Abby. Thanks for "toughing out" the week. Hopefully you had a great time. Remember you have to take the good with the bad.
  25. Thanks Abby. This was great content
  26. Abby, thanks for the timely information from the show and the great videos. The Butch Harmon interview audio clip was very nice. I am in NH and can't wait to have spring show up and find the new yellow Pro Vs in my local shop. On line it still doesn't look like you can order the yellow balls customized with the TT logo yet but spring is a long way off for us in New England.
