If Straits is the venue, it's awesome! Was able to knock it off my bucket list a few years ago. Went with Higs, Hotsauce and Tiger and had a blast. Also got to squeeze in Erin Hills while we were there and that's a great course to play as well.

Here's one of my favorite pictures during the trip. 18th hole at Straits with the sun going down and got the boys crossing the bridge. The views are fantastic there.

Whistling Straits...... Hoping to make it...

Obviously my theory of it not being at an all Dye facility was wrong, and I'm glad. All four Kohler courses are awesome, I've played all but the Irish. Clearly round 2 will be on the Straits course....maybe the next hint will give a little more insight into round 1. Hope the dates work out.

Look at the clues so far...........Dye...........7790..........WEST of previous venues................I'd say that puts Myrtle, TPC, and Ocean Course out............I wouldn't consider them west. Plus, without this fun and intrigue, we wouldn't have 85 responses in only a few hours so far. Stay tuned...........same Bat time.............same Bat channel...............................

Whistling Straits leaves me out. Walking course only and NO exceptions as they put it. You guys have fun.

We love the San Diego area and my wife has cousins there. I saw the date of your event, March 10th and we will be at the Omni Grove Park Inn, March 7th thru the 10th at an invitation only, VIP art auction. I have been invited to play golf at the Grove Park Inn Resort and Spa Golf Course on Friday afternoon, a Donald Ross design built in 1926. We have been there a number of times but I have never had the time to play the course. Really looking forward to the TT April event. Pinehurst is one of my favorite venues, next to Ireland. Hopefully sometime in the near future, I can return to walking, once I get a thumbs up from my pulmonologist. Still going in for testing and on meds. I really enjoyed walking and enjoying nature. My Clicgear cart is in my garage waiting on my return.

Chuck Z - here's to wishing you can get back to enjoying golf in total (walking to take in the landscape is the best part).
Besides, you are too young (or too close in age to me..) to not get past a setback. We'll see you in Pinehurst.
