    Folks, If you didn’t get a spot in the annual Team Titleist Invitational at Whistling Straits don’t give up, you can still enjoy a Team Titleist Golf Outing. We still have a few spots for the San Diego Golf Day. Sunday, March 10th at The Grand in Del Mar. Tee times will start at 10:00AM. Come for the day or if traveling from out of town, make a weekend trip to warm and sunny San Diego. Contact Erik Wilson to reserve your spot. You can email Erik at erik.wilson@fairmont.com or call him at 1(858) 314-1924. When sending an email add "Team Titleist 3/10: The Grand" in the subject line. Abby is coming out for our event and will have a little something special from Titleist for all of you. We will have additional prizes for “closest to the hole” and “long drive”. Most importantly, you will have the opportunity to get to know some of your fellow Team Titleist loyalist. Hope to see you there. Reply to this thread if you are coming so I can bump your name against the list to make sure no one gets missed.

    Needed a buddy trip, need a break from weather, so I'm making this a long weekend trip to include this on Sunday and TP North on Monday. Sun, blue sky, azure ocean don't fail me. I haven't seen the sun in days and the forecast isn't much better. Not sure sunny and -3 F is close to cloudy and 68 in SD, though. There a Greg coming with me as we both lost our minds on the same day at -25F/wind chill -55F and had to find some hope. Now just have to wait and hope the snowblower doesn't get much use until then.

    I just got the latest update and we are up to 18 players. Looks like we have room to expand to 24 so 6 more spots are still available. Come on out locals! Out-of-towner's welcome too. Southwest has some great rates right now and your bags (and golf bag) fly for free. Lot's to do in town. San Diego Gulls hockey game Saturday night. Easy drive over to one of the local casinos like Harrah's, Sycuan, or Pechanga. Or just come out and play some golf.

    After finding space to pile up the new foot of snow in the last day, 3/8 can't get here fast enough. I was working out the details for a buddy trip and we're taking advantage of this. Goat Hill and Torrey Pines will round out the trip. San Diego is a deal when the Florida courses have their high season rates, and the weather is more predictable than Myrtle Beach or the RTJ Trail. SD is one of my favorite destinations when my grass is still white. Airfare and time flying for anyone from the Mississippi west is reasonably equivalent. Thanks, Dale, Cathi, and Abby for making this happen.

    Dale, I wish I could be there but just was out in San Diego a few months ago. Played The Vineyards, Escondido Ranch,Balboa, Coronado, and TP . A retirement trip while visiting family . Perhaps next time. Sounds like a great time , especially coming all the way from the east coast. Hit em straight!

    I would have liked to attend the event in SD but when I read the thread "Any TT events in San Diego" in January, Kovatchian stated TT SD Locals Only event so I didn't read any threads relating to the event until this evening.

    I would love to see a Saturday or Sunday event!
    TT SD Locals Only event. We could start a brainstorming session...better yet how about a happy hour.

    By all means Bruce, open to any and all TT members. We planned it for a Sunday just to help with out-of-towers wanting to drive down or fly in and make a weekend of it. Act fast as Abby in trying to get a final count for a little special welcome gift for the players. She needs to mail them from the East Coast.

    Well maybe my early forecast of 70 degrees and sunny was a bit bold given all the rain we have been getting since late January. A couple more rain events this week but Saturday and Sunday are currently forecast to be in the lower 60's with some sun and clouds. Dress in layers and we'll have a good time, even if the course is a bit softer than normal. See you this weekend.

    My apologies if this comes through twice but having some issues with file format of the attached tee time roster. Reminder that the range will be open early and is included. They will have some tables reserved for us in the restaurant for post-golf lunch, snack, or just to meet and visit others. Don’t forget to set your alarm clock forward the night before. See you there.

    We have 3 tee times on hold at Goat Hill Park for Saturday starting at 1:30.
    Please call them to reserve your spot if you would like to play.

    Goat hill is pretty chill...come out even if you don't get a tee time I'm sure they will accommodate.
