  1. I love all the Team Titleist merchandise I received surprisingly in the mail. I wish I could get more, don’t we all.

I just have a hard time seeing people selling the Team Titleist swag on EBay that they got free.

    Your thoughts

Unfortunately it is a trend that will never die, some people simply don't appreciate what the TT stands for and want to make a quick buck out of their great keepsakes

Tacky at the very least. I don't understand why someone would resell TT gifts, but, I don't understand why people do much of anything anymore.

INTEGRITY had gone by the wayside in today's society

Same reason people steal Cameron head covers to resell. No integrity by the buyers, either.

This is an old subject that pops up a lot and a very sore subject with members of TT. It is their merchandise when they get it and they can do with it as they wish, BUT they do not represent true TT loyalists. Can I use the word scumbags on this site, without being censored? Just one opinion and maybe shared by others. @#$%&

I agree 100% with Chuck. There's no other word to describe people who receive TT merchandise and resell it. I hope that the scumbags choke on the money they got!

Numerous threads on this.. Its going to continue to happen and TT looks into these sellers.. Thats why I'll continue to tell people ASKING for free swag to participate in conversations.. Like I was told as a kid, ask for something in the store and you're really not getting it, patience! These sellers make it hard for TT to give items out because they have to worry about the quick flip on eBay. Sad

If it was given to you, FOR FREE, and you don't want/need it, why not give it away to some who wants it?
  10. That’s really too bad. New member, up the sticker on my tundra!

Totally up to the person who received the gift but I don’t agree with it and should pass it onto someone else who will appreciate it....for free.
  12. It's come to a sad state of affairs when people act in this manner.
Can they be that short of cash that they would stoop to selling gifts?
Only today I received a goody bag in the post from Team Titleist - Ball marker, tees & a pitch repairer.
I'm extremely pleased to receive such gifts and in no way expect this largess.
It is a considerate gesture from Titleist to send out these items to us - no other manufacturer does this as far as I'm aware. These gifts are an appreciation by Titleist of their supporters at grass roots level and I think we, in return, acknowledge and appreciate that consideration.
I, for one, wouldn't dream of selling Titleist gifts on eBay (or anywhere else) and wouldn't buy them off eBay either.
No point in compounding this bad manners by supporting the "offence".

On one hand: Why are you selling your cool stuff?

On the other hand: I can buy cool stuff!

...but I don't want to support the resale. #Conflicted

I will never sell, but I have given Team Titleist items away to fellow members.

This topic comes up every so often, that's a good thing reminds people not to do it. Yes I hate to hear it again.

You can see about 15 postings on this from me. Disgusting
  17. It doesn't surprise me one bit. As long as you don't purchase any of it and provide them with a market.

Wish we could track them down and let Titleist know who they are. Our Club was fortunate enough to have been selected to participate in raising money for the Folds of Honor Foundation when Titleist created limited edition bags with the "Folds of Honor" logo on them for auction or raffle at the participating Clubs. Many of us stuffed the raffle box, buying more and more tickets, as we knew there were a couple of guys, who if they won it, would have had it on Ebay before the end of the day. Fortunately it was always won by someone who really appreciated it and wanted it. One who upon winning it, picked it up, and carried it across the room presenting it to a retired Army Colonel, who had several combat tours over the years in the middle east. EVERYONE appreciated that.

As a veteran (SSgt, USAF, 1965-1971), always bought a ticket or two hoping to win one of the FOH bags, never won. One day one of the winners asked me if I was a veteran, said yes, and asked if I wanted his bag. He had only used it once and it was sitting in his garage. I said sure and even offered to pay him. He would not allow that, but did buy him a FJ shirt, just me. I really appreciated it. I normally use it for tournaments and special events. Have had many offers to buy it from other veterans, BUT NOT FOR SALE. Have seen them for sale for as high as $700 on eBay. Unbelievable. Will pass it on to another veteran one day. I'm sure the veteran you gave it to, really appreciated it as much as I do. I just hope those who abuse this program can sleep well at night.

As others say, DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING TT on eBay. That is our first step, as TT loyalists, in stopping this......let's be part of the solution, not the problem......

Okay so here is my take on it. Being that I knew nothing about the group for the first 30 years of golf I would see how someone would find it appealing to purchase these items off of Ebay. Now that I am a member here I don't understand why someone would sell the items.
  24. Pretty sorry, says a lot about today's society.
