Love to go to movies. I see almost 40 films a year. Also like to read books on golf course architecture. Just finished a book on one of my favorite courses....Prairie Dunes!

Like you I started playing guitar when I retired. Joined a band for a while but found it too tiring at my age. Like my golf I play or practice every day.

I also play a lot of your countrymen at Chess. Good for the old grey cells.

Hunting, fishing, olympic lifting, and finding new wineries and breweries to check out would be at the top of my list outside of golf. I bought a guitar 5 years ago, strummed around for a few months and realized it was much harder to pick up than I'd thought so no it sits in the corner of the room looking cool haha

If you define hobby, as something that gives you joy.
My main hobby is to spend time with my wife and son.
I love cooking for them and working on teaching my son how to cook, my wife is a lost case on learning how to cook.
We go to the movies a lot, 1 day road trips just to discover things around us.
building puzzles and toys, working on building and modify small electronics, such as raspberry pies.

in the summer If im not golfing im normally fishing or i like to follow the winged spring car dirt track racing series from around the country. grew up at the track so its always been a lot of fun following and watching. winter is hockey and ice fishing. and that all only happens if i can find time when im not working!

Competition shooting.

I've been began Jiu-Jitsu about 7 months ago. Been doing CrossFit for the last two years. Play in a work soft ball league as well.

I really like shooting firearms and also watching Cubs games!

My other hobby is playing guitar in a small bar cover band. Much like my golf game, I find that no matter how well I play, I won’t be able to quit my day job.
